Very easy and still delicious.
making a double batch as we speak! its lovely I recommend toasting it and eating it with butter. It does need a bit of butter😘
I’ve made it yesterday. The taste was very good but the texture was super wet and it felt like not baked. But reading comments below it’s seems I did the same mistake by using a backing form that was too high. Indeed, I’ve used one that was rather high. But my husband and even our friend who visited yesterday have enjoyed it very much 💪 🥰
5 star
I have made this twice now .
I freeze half the loaf for later . Very Delicious, moist , dessert.
I like raisins so next time I may add raisins .
Excellent directions, easy to make !
I Made it tonight and it is amazing! Super comforting 😊
I’m not sure what happened but my loaf did not cook on the inside. I tried cooking for another 35 mins in total and it still ain’t cooked. Very delicious still.
So quick and easy to make. Not too sweet. I added in chia seeds and pumpkin seeds for extra texture and protein.
Such a delicious fall recipe!
I made it with a mix of gluten-free flour and a bit more water and worked pretty well.
This is really good and not overly sweet like so many banana breads. I really love the little hint of cloves that comes through.
An amazing variation of classical banana bread. Quite moist but I think that’s how it should be and it tastes really good. Also I wouldn’t think of adding the chia seeds for extra protein and also as a substitute for eggs! What a great idea:)) thx for the recipe!
P.S. even my mom liked it and she usually doesn’t like banana breads;D
I added another 3/4 of a banana because my mix was too dry. Maybe that's why it needed more bake time. Maybe less or no sugar with the extra banana would be better. 🥕🍌
OMG! Just delicious! Just added some chocolate Chips for extra goodness! Loved it!
Unusually as I have a fan assisted oven when I bade the usual 20° deduction from the cooking heat in the recipe it hardly cooked at all. I turned the heat back up to your numbers for 1/2 the recipe cooking time and it came out perfect.
The cake itself is .... Oh my....
Yumm yumm 😁
i dont know, the dough was very dry. It take me a long time to fold the dry ingredients into the wet. and the bread also turns out a little dry too.
what is the fault? i used the cup measurment for the flour and that are 15 g more. i tested it after the cake was ready. maybe that was the problem?
2nd time making this and it’s good for my toddler too. Couple of adjustments: the nuts on top burned in my oven last time I made it, so now I put them all in the mix. Also, I didn’t put any sugar inside, just sprinkled about 1Tbsp on top to make a sweet crispy topping.
I’m not sure it I overmixed it as well (although I really tried not to!) as the others are pointing out but indeed it came out really dense, small and not fluffy at all. Very different than the other recipe of Chocolate Banana bread which I did a night before and came out perfect.
A bit disappointed. Can be something in the recipe that makes it too dense?
Delicious! Perfect level of sweetness, everyone loved it.
I am still amazed how mashed banana can make any type of bread so moist, even better than bread with eggs/milk/butter. This bread has a very nice twist with spices and carrot: a different earthy sweetness
Super delicious! I used gluten free flour and swapped sugar with honey, it turned out great!
I turned the batter into 12 muffins and they were amazing! It’s not too sweet and paired well with nut butter and yogurt :) I baked them for 25-30min :)
Love this recipe!
Absolutely delicious! I was sceptical about the carrot but you can't taste it. So moist and tasty!
I made it without coconut oil by mistake, it still turned out great! 😅 it tastes great with butter and a little jelly 😋
Moist and perfect!
When I made it I was a afraid the mixture was too dry but it turned out so good! Instead of 1 loaf I baked them as cupcakes. I also added proteïn powder and didn't add the sugar, still very sweet and flavourfull 😊
Very moist and delicious loaf! Best thing is that the coconut oil does not take over the taste of banana and carrot! The walnuts provide a delicious crunch!
Hi, I am currently waiting on my bananas to be more ripe and then I will try this recipe. Does anyone have experience with freezing this? It’s to much for me alone
I’m not sure if I need to squeeze out the carrot beforehand or if maybe I needed to add more baking powder but the bread came out more dense than spongy. I’m going to try the recipe again but that was disappointing.
This is such a yummy banana bread & I love the addition of the carrot!
made it with apples instead of bananas and it turned out just perfect 🍎🥕
Made this today for my 1.5 year old toddler! I substituted all-purpose flour with whole meal spelt flour and sugar with dates powder to make it more nutritious for the little one . She absolutely loved it ! :) :)
Dear Sadia and team- I am constantly on the lookout for healthy finger food recipes for my lil’ one - Is there any chance that you could do a series on healthy finger food for toddlers ? :)
Hi! Can I make it without chia seeds?
Made this today and it turned out super well ! Used Raisins instead of the nuts and my little one loved it too ❤️
Can l replace the flour with oat flour?
Hi! I think I overmixed the batter because it came out too dense. It rose and then completely fell again. Any tips?
Delicious! Turned out great! Had to use pecans instead
Have made this loaf twice now and will be making again. Love!
Delicious banana loaf!
I would make this again.
A little on the doughy side.. even though I baked it a good while longer than instructed. We are keeping leftovers refrigerated.
AMAZING!
All kitchen smells so so good and the taste is great 💚
This is super good and moist. My new therapeutic recipe <3
Really recommend this loaf, it’s easy to make and just a bit different from your standard banana bread. I used pecans instead of walnuts (because that’s what I had in) and they really worked well. I also didn’t have any all purpose flour (or plain flour as we call it in the UK) so I used self raising flour and half the baking powder and that worked just fine
Easy amd delicious
