Ingredients
-
½ cup (120 mL)canned full-fat coconut milk†
-
¼ cup (48 g)coconut sugar
-
½ tspground cinnamon
-
1½ cups (360 mL)barista oat milk†
-
⅛ tsppure vanilla extract (optional)
-
½ cup (120 mL)brewed espresso
Optional garnish
-
ground cinnamon
-
foamed milk
Directions
- To a saucepan, add coconut milk, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. Cook at a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning.
- When the mixture has thickened and resembles a caramel sauce, add the milk and vanilla. Whisk to combine. Bring to a boil, then remove from the heat.
- Brew the espresso into your desired cups.
- Pour the warm cinnamon coconut milk mixture overtop your espresso. Top with foamed milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
- †We recommend using a coconut milk can that has no emulsifier (such as guar gum) in the ingredient list. We've found this results in a more desirable consistency.
- †Barista milk often has a higher proportion of fat and carbohydrates than other plant-based milk, which gives it a nice creamy texture.
Storage
- Best if enjoyed immediately.

This warm drink tastes like heaven in a mug (according to me🤭)!! Must try, at least watch the full video - I bet anyone will be tempted to give it a try! Can we have a PUL fan club, please? 🥳 There have been days when just I wanted to come home and treat myself to a hot cup of this drink! Rainy days are my favourite days to drink it, and this gives me one reason to like rainy days in the Netherlands. 🤩 Lol😂😂
Quite delicious and comforting! If I ever need a sweet autumn pick-me-up, this may be my new go-to. I’ll probably cut the sugar in half for my taste, keep as is for my husband.
Wow, impressive! This latte recipe is by far my favorite so far. Amazing you guys :)
Love it 😍
I really liked this recipe! I didn't have barista milk so I used unsweetened soy milk and it worked for me 🙂
This is by far one of my favorite lattes ever! If I don't have coconut sugar, I use half table sugar and half brown sugar.
Literally feels like coffee at a cafe!
Looks yummy!
Could you make this iced?
I used granulated sugar and I think just half the sugar would have been enough. Liked the caramel smell and taste. Thick for a latte.
I love this cinnamon Latte. It's perfect for those cosy nights in :)
Wow! Just wow! This one is phenomenal. It has certainly become a new favorite I will make if I wish to spend a little extra time making a latte as my favorite ones are the instant mixes. 100% recommend making this one!
my favourite warm drink! so easy to make, so delicious and comforting! works with any type of milk, not just plant milk :)
This recipe is great! Didn’t have coconut sugar so I used 1.5 tbs maple syrup and it was delicious! Can’t wait to try as intended with coconut sugar. Thanks!
One of my favorite recipes! Love the caramel.
Subtle and sweet. I want to try just making the coconut caramel base to use as a sauce on puddings. I made this in the microwave on a drinks setting for just under 2mins and it worked just as well as it would on a stove (just got to keep an eye out for burning it that way!)
Absolutely divine ! Thank you for this recipe !
P.S. When will your app be available for Android devices ?
Big hit for my non- vegan son who doesn't like coffee, even though he's a barista at Starbucks. He downed the drink quickly with a smile on his face, and even gave me a hug! My daughter loved it too. I buy coconut whip in a can, maybe that's cheating but it saves time.
Absolutely delicious!! I will make this over and over again!
oops, sorry about all the posts x hehe, delete them if possible lol
best best besssssst coffeee!
This is so yummy 😊
This is my „treat-your-self-Sunday-Latte“
It is so warming creamy And tasty I really love it
Thank you for sharing this recipe with us.
Do any other drinks exist? Not after making this for the first time😋 10/10!
I must say I'm not a fan of coffee but this latte is amazing ! A hug in a mug :)
I made this for my partner and me today, and I've made a lot of things for us over the years, but he said this was one of the best things he's ever tasted. It's definitely a keeper. Thank you, Pick Up Limes team!
So tempting to try it ❤️
Amazing! Absolutely loved it 🥰
Very delicious 😋
This recipe deserves five stars just because of the mouthwatering effect and the cozy ambiance of the video with this recipe!
I was watching it again, and it has been suggested to share the types of milk that would go well with coffee: hazelnut milk!
It may be because it gives the impression to be drinking a chocolate-coffee drink, but this milk adds a "je ne sais quoi" to a latte!
As usual.. Perfect presentation!! Loves from India...to pul team ❤️
Absolutely delicious! Perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Just make it, you won’t regret it!
I love this recipe! I usually don't care for coffee, but this is fantastic!!!!! I don't have any coffee machines, so I used about a teaspoon of instant coffee granules and just poured this over top and topped with whipped cream. Super yummy and perfect for cold weather!
this is so UNBELIEVABLY AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!
Yummm!!! It tastes like one of my favorite drinks I usually will buy. I love that I can make it from home. Thank you!
This is the best latte ever!!!!! I've been making it everyday for a whole week. Thank you for this AMAZING recipe!!!!!
Just made this this morning and it was sooo delicious! 🤩 warm, comforting, and so tasty!
I knew that since this recipe was from Sadia it would be good, but I was honestly shocked at just how good it was.....it was AMAZING!! It was so warm, comforting and rich, it felt like a warm luxurious blanket was wrapped around me. Can't wait to make it again!
So yummy!
This is my ultimate cold weather comfort drink - so lovely and delicious. Thank you!
yum!
Heavenly! Even with a coffee substitute it's so, so good.
An amazing dessert coffee! I was having this most Sundays with my partner this winter. Moka Pot coffee works great, although when I tried substituting white sugar once, it didn't have the same beautiful flavor, so I think it is worth investing in coconut sugar to level it up :)
Smells and tastes sooo nice! The best thing for a cozy laid-back morning.
This coffee is delightful! It's great on the weekends, especially on chillier days. I usually make it using an aeropress, as I don't have an espresso machine, and it works really nicely!
I’ve never taken the time to make a drink before, and I don’t normally drink coffee, yet I couldn’t stop making this recipe during the winter. It’s a warm hug from the inside out and perfect for the colder months. I love it!
Made this and it was YUMMO!
This latte is one of my favorite drinks for fall and winter time. It's so comforting and delicious! 😍 Everyone should try it!
Haven't been to Starbucks in months because of your latte recipes and this one is one of my favs! This was the first one I ever tried and I have loved it since. Until I tried this, that coconut sugar was simply wasting away in my pantry but now I find myself always running out. Had to increase the coffee and reduce the milk since I was using pour-over but once I got the ratio right it was amazing!
Words cannot describe how amazing and cozy this drink is! It’s incredibly easy to make considering the taste is pure bliss. Works great with almond milk and normal coffee/instant espresso as well. I will sometimes make it without caffeine just to enjoy it in the evening. It’s soo good.
This recipe became a family favourite over the winter holidays. It is easy to make and is simply delicious! This recipe made me fall even more in love with the process of making my morning coffee. Thank you!
I have no words - the caramel, the creaminess, and the coconut touch, this recipe is simply devine. Thank you sooo much for sharing it!
hi, I tried the recipe. totally loved it! thank you.
OMG! my husband and I loved the latte. I did not have an expresso machine but I did
Have a cuban pot wherein I was able to make the cuban espresso yummy! Will make again.

This was easy and delicious! great way to use up extra coconut milk. I used almond milk since that is what I had and it worked out well.
I am definitely going to try this one! Love it! Thank you so much for sharing Sadia!
Oh my gosh I tried this with soy milk and it's SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! The coconut sugar gives the perfect blend of flavors with strong caramel notes. Thanks for sharing!!
