It seems delicious, I love pastel de nata and can't wait to try it. But is there a way to achieve similar results without the pie weights/beans step? It doesn't have to look the same, just taste the same😋

Hey Panagiota! You can skip the pie weights by pricking the base of each pastry cup with a fork a few times to help prevent too much puffing. Once you're ready to fill, simply press down the centre gently with your fingers. They won't hold their shape quite as neatly, but the flavour will still be delish! Let us know if you test it out 😊
