I had to add 1 extra tablespoon of lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of soy milk to make these moist enough to roll into balls. There does seem to be a miscalculation of wet ingredients to dry. The flavour is really good. After having to add extra moisture, which required extra mixing, they came out a little dense. Still edible and as a I said, the flavour is great!
My son made these tonight. They were bursting with flavor and the texture was excellent: chewy in the middle, crunchy on the top. He had to add a little bit of soy milk to make the dough more pliable, but after that it was easy to roll it into balls and dip them in icing sugar. A new family favorite, for sure! đđ
These are so good! The texture of the dough was a bit crumbly at first but I added an extra juice of half a lemon and it worked! I also used about 50g less of sugar haha and they turned out great! Very lemony and perfect for the summer even though itâs ending.
Unfortunately these did not work at all for me. They were very dry and after baking for the suggested 10-12 minutes, they were no where close to ready. I continued to check on them every 2-3 minutes. After 30 minutes, I gave up, took them out, and they crumbled all over still not resembling anything like a cookie. Straight to the trash. These need more liquid or less dry ingredients to have any chance.
Delicious and easy to make!
That was so yummy, I reduce the sugar to 175g and it was perfect đ
Really good and easy to make! I also reduced the sugar (used 150gr) and they turned out absolutely fine :)
Question: how should I go about freezing the cookies?
Some lemon cookie recipes don't contain enough lemon flavour but these do! Thank you!
Love the texture and how simple it was to make them. But to my taste (and even for my partner who usually loves sweet) they turned out way too sweet. I weighed all the Ingredients, so was following the recipe. Do you think reducing the amount of sugar would affect the texture?
Lovely cookies which taste of summer.
As I like my cookies less sweet, I only used about 110g sugar.
I donât want to give this a harsh rating because Iâd like to give it a second chance, but mine ended up a total fail. I didnât have a hand mixer and used a fork instead, which probably didnât combine the ingredients properly. The dough never came together, and the cookies just fell apart when I tried to roll them into balls. Probably my fault, but just a heads-up for anyone without the right tools.
I did every single step of this recipe wrong, it had been a looong day. I had very low hopes for the result but they came out so delicious! I cannot imagine how good they would be if I had done this right đ Definitely recommend and definitely making them again! Question: I used an electric whisk cause I don't have a mixer and ended up with half the ingredients on my wall. Could this step be done manually with a fork you think?
Simply delightful! I love how light, fresh, and tangy they taste.
Fresh and tasty! Like lemony sugar cookies. Trust in the cook times, I cooked mine a few minutes longer because they felt really soft in the oven still and they ended up continuing to dry out over night. Still delicious, big hit at work đ
J'ai essayé, j'ai redonné une deuxiÚme chance et puis non je n'ai pas aimé cette recette, par chance il y en a plein d'autres délicieuses à faire !
These are delicious! Nice crunch on the outside, soft on the inside, and so lemony đ just what you need to welcome Spring! âșïžđ»
These are excellent and simple, I ended up making them twice in one week
These are lovely and refreshing! The perfect springtime cookie. I love the crispy edges and the melt-in-your-mouth centers.
Sooo good. I love lemons đ I baked them on Saturday and now, 3 days later they are still very good.
Look very nice! How much lemon juice came out of your lemon? I have small-ish lemons
These cookies are very good but a bit too sweet for my taste.
These were quick to make with just a few simple ingredients and taste great! Super lemony! I overbaked mine slightly and they also spread out more than on the pictures, but everyone still really enjoyed them.
Delicious!! I felt like my mixture was too dry in step 4, so I added more lemon juice and they turned out great!
Simple ingredients, but so delicious! Will definitely bake more of them in the future!
