Lemon Crinkle Cookies

Lovely cookies which taste of summer.
As I like my cookies less sweet, I only used about 110g sugar.

I don’t want to give this a harsh rating because I’d like to give it a second chance, but mine ended up a total fail. I didn’t have a hand mixer and used a fork instead, which probably didn’t combine the ingredients properly. The dough never came together, and the cookies just fell apart when I tried to roll them into balls. Probably my fault, but just a heads-up for anyone without the right tools.

Using a fork instead of a hand mixer can make it tricky to fully cream the butter and sugar, which is likely why the dough didn’t come together as expected. For best results, the butter really needs to be well incorporated until smooth and fluffy. If you'd still prefer to use a fork, letting the butter soften a bit more can help make mixing easier. Lastly, weighing the ingredients (like the butter and flour) rather than measuring by cups can improve accuracy and help ensure the proportions are just right. We hope this helps for now 💛

Les biscuits étaient très bons, croquants et moelleux à la fois, peut-être un peu trop sucrés pour moi, je testerai en baissant la quantité. J'adore le citron je pense que je rajouterai un peu plus de zeste la prochaine fois

I did every single step of this recipe wrong, it had been a looong day. I had very low hopes for the result but they came out so delicious! I cannot imagine how good they would be if I had done this right 😊 Definitely recommend and definitely making them again! Question: I used an electric whisk cause I don't have a mixer and ended up with half the ingredients on my wall. Could this step be done manually with a fork you think?

Fresh and tasty! Like lemony sugar cookies. Trust in the cook times, I cooked mine a few minutes longer because they felt really soft in the oven still and they ended up continuing to dry out over night. Still delicious, big hit at work 😋

These cookies are very good but a bit too sweet for my taste.

These were quick to make with just a few simple ingredients and taste great! Super lemony! I overbaked mine slightly and they also spread out more than on the pictures, but everyone still really enjoyed them.

Delicious!! I felt like my mixture was too dry in step 4, so I added more lemon juice and they turned out great!

Simple ingredients, but so delicious! Will definitely bake more of them in the future!
