Apple fritters are a unique donut, made with juicy apples and filled with warm spices. The moist, fluffy batter helps to hold together the crisp pieces of apple. They're the perfect fall or winter treat. A simple sugar glaze helps to make these super delightful.

Tastes wonderful and didn't absorb as much oil as I thought they would.

Can I make it in the air fryer?

Hey Maradith, you can try making these in the air fryer - they just won't be as crispy! For example, you could try to scoop the batter into small dollops on parchment paper, air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 8-10 minutes, then glaze or toss in cinnamon sugar. Let us know how it goes if you test it out 🤗✨

These are pure magic!

Une réussite. Super facile à faire et rapide pour régaler tout le monde rapidement. Après ça reste des beignets

These are delicious !! We added an apple and more cinnamon, and will definively be making them again 🤩

Could one bake them in the oven?

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 5, 2024, 4:57 a.m.

Hey Mary, we imagine you can bake them in the oven, though we haven't tried them ourselves. We would suggest baking them in a greased muffin tin (they will come out more muffin-like). You could try baking on a tray, but the batter is fairly runny and we think it would result in a flat dough with large chunks of apples. You can also shallow fry these in a cast iron pan, which would use far less oil. We will keep it in mind to create a baked version of apple fritters 🙌

So delicious. I made these for Christmas and it was a huge hit with everyone. Much better than the ones you can buy from the food trucks during the holidays. Now I’m waiting for an olliebollen recipe 😉
