What is allspice?

Hi friend, allspice comes from dried berries of Pimenta dioica and has a flavour that’s a cozy blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. If you don’t have any, you can add more of these spices ☺️

I just moved to a small town in spain and this spice is hard to find, so happy to see a recipe here for it. I use it in my oatmeal and in lattes and it makes it taste so cozy. thanks for the recipe PUL team!

I felt like it had way too much nutmeg.

Hey Deborah, thanks for sharing your experience with the spice mix. Nutmeg does have a distinct flavour, and I can see how it might stand out for some. If you like, you can adjust the quantity of nutmeg to suit your taste in future batches. The beauty of homemade mixes is the flexibility to tailor them to your liking. Thanks again for giving the recipe a try and for your valuable feedback!☺️
