These cinnamon sugar chickpeas are a fun little treat with just the right crunch. They’re sweet, spiced, and surprisingly satisfying. The air fryer makes them super crispy without much effort. They're perfect for snacking, thanks to that cinnamon sugar coating.

Can you make these in the oven as well?

Hiii Hilde! Yes, you can bake them in the oven. We'd recommend lining a baking tray and preheating the oven to the same temperature using the fan setting. They’ll need roughly the same baking time, plus an extra 6 to 8 minutes or so, or until they’re golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them near the end so they don’t burn. Enjoy 🤗

These are amazing! And they work with the season so nicely. These are going to be a new snacking staple in this house.
Keep up the good work ❤️

Aww yay thanks for the glowing review, Sabine! So glad they were enjoyed ☺️

Looking forward to trying these! Should the serving total be 3 since each serving is 1/2 cup? Or is there that much shrinkage during air frying that it does yield only 1 cup total? Thanks!

Heyy Leslie, I'm looking back at our notes on this recipe, and I'm not seeing what we recorded for the weight after baking, soo I think we inputted the final yield of 1 cup correctly at the time, but I can't say for sure. Chickpeas do shrink a bit after baking (or being in the air fryer) so the final yield ends up slightly lower than the starting amount. Though it's not a drastic shrinkage, so it's possible each serving is just over ½ cup each. I hope this helps for now, and I hope you enjoy them! 🤗

I can confirm that the chickpeas do shrink during frying. Not to half their size, but it's noticable.

Thanks, Sabine!
