Any ideas for how to boost the iron in this more? I am looking for some iron-rich smoothies to start my day off with a boost! Was thinking of adding a few walnuts?
Very good. I will definitely be making this again.
This is a staple at home, we add almond butter to it. Great afternoon snack.
Really yummy, simple and comforting
It's an interesting combination of ingredients and I love the colour. I made it with fresh blueberries and added 1 tsp of agava syrup (for 1 serving) as it wasn't sweet enough for me. I'll definitely double the amount of dates next time to boost the sweetness
Super delicious and great for kids who otherwise wouldn’t eat oats. Thank you!
Very delicious, you can taste the Yoghurt. Good as a snack, but too cold for breakfast.
This was refreshing and just sweet enough. Subbed chia seeds for the hemp since I didn’t have any.
Personally, I find it much too cold for the morning. I will try letting the berries thaw overnight next time.
Mmm
Very nice drink for the mornings.
So delicious! If you use Oatly Greek yogurt I suggest putting slightly less than the recipe in because it’s quite overpowering, but still so tasty!
I made this smoothie countless times, such an easy, quick, yet delicious breakfast! My blender is not the strongest so it has a hard time blending dates. I tried substituting with some candied cranberries, and it is amazing with that too. Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious and so quick to make. I didn't have hemp seed on hand so substituted chia seeds. I will be making this again and again.
Yummy! I added a frozen banana and less dates, some vanilla and cinnamon. 😋
Really nice
My husband drinks this smoothie all the time. It’s very good! The serving size does seem smaller than other smoothie recipes on the app.
Super quick, easy, and delicious! Husband especially liked it. 😊
Delicious and easy to make
Delicious! Had to blend mine for quite a while to get it smooth enough 😅 (I have a ninja smoothie blender).
I look forward to trying this recipe, thank you so much Sadia 😘😘
I made it with blackcurrant.
Will try without yoghurt next time. I had to add a lot of extra plant milk.
It was really good. It reminds me a bit of an oatmeal raisin cookie as a drink.
I'm now making this recipe around 4 times per week. Definitely one of my favourite.
I use this as a pre workout smoothie by adding some protein isolate to the mix.
I really enjoyed the taste of this smoothie but it was much thicker than I prefer. I ended up adding more plant milk and later some water so that I could get it to a consistency that I could easily drink. I would make this again but I would modify the recipe from the start to have more liquid.
This tasted amazing! It is still a bit chilly in New York, but I can already anticipate that this will be on heavy rotation when the hot weather rolls around.
It had been a while since i made a smoothie and i really enjoyed this one! It was really great and because of the oats it was also filling! Usually I don't do blueberries because they are quite expensive here, but I was glad I tried this recipe!
OMG! This has to be the best smoothie of all times!! I truly think this is the best one you guys have come up with. Thank you!! It's great as pre-workout, and it's now going to be my staple 🥰
Delicious smoothie thank u
Never would have thought of putting oats in a smoothie. Pretty good!
Used Nordic Blueberries (bilberries) instead of blueberries, since that's what we had. Worked really well and the colour became really deep wine colour ❤️
Hello. I make this but the problem was the way to thick then your recipe. Why is that?
I didn't expect this to be as filling and satisfying as it was. The oats and seeds really made it substantial while the berries kept it yummy!
This smoothie gives me the perfect morning boost. I make it for the whole family. Even my 9-year-old daughter enjoys it. I appreciate that this recipe doesn’t use bananas as the sweetener and thickener. It’s my new favorite smoothie!
Loove the consistency, it's so silky smooth. Also it perfectly balances sweetness and freshness.
So easy to make! Normally not a big fan of dates but it adds such delicious sweetness to this beautiful looking smoothy 🥰
Beautiful and satisfaying! I am trying to go toward more plant based food daily so I am starting with my breakfasts and this one is a keeper ♥️.
Okay, what?!? The ingredients are so simple, but the flavors are phenomenal! I definitely recommend making. Yum!
I am currently looking into light and healthy breakfast recipes with few ingredients :) So I made this smoothie this morning, but with a mix of frozen acaï and raspberries. I also reduced the dates for less sweetness and added a little bit almond butter. Love the community tipps!!! I will surely make it again!
Nice recipe.
It would be good if you can add a filter/ category especially for gym goers who look for low calorie, high protein and easy to prepare foods all the time. And by high protein I mean around 20-25 gm protein per serving. Also calories per gm of protein should stay low, preferably not exceed the factor of 15 and max 20 (total calories divided by total protein).
This can also be clubbed under the foods of weight loss category.
Believe me, if you implement it and the word gets out, it would become an instant hit.
I would also suggest pre-grouping a few filters together, like putting easy to prepare, low calorie, high protein with around 20 gm protein under gym goers. Just saying.
I love this! I make it at least once a week and sometimes supplement the blueberries with other frozen fruit. I know - crazy, right? 😂
So many great recipes, I find myself making this one most. Quick and delicious, a smoothie without banana (thumbs up!)
I love this smoothie recipe!! It’s hard to find a smoothie recipe without banana that’s still creamy and satisfying. I’ve tried the recipe with several different berries and it always hits the spot. I also love adding some peanut butter either in the blender or on top for serving.
It needed quite a bit of additional liquid to make it drinkable - it was pretty thick - and it didn't keep me full for very long, but it taste great, though.
I make this all the time! Love it so much!
.
Very lovely. I should have blended a little longer though. Mine got lumpy.
Easy to make and delicious. I used coconut yogurt and oat milk, as I don’t like the taste of soy milk.
This one has become a staple in our household!
My son loved making this for his breakfast :)
Made this for breakfast! Delicious!
I’d recommend grounding the oats if you don’t like the gritty texture of oatmeal. Also cut the dates in pieces, as my blender never crushes the dates well.
It‘s so so good! Seriously one of the best smoothie recipes I have come across
I’m not much of a smoothie person, but blueberries are my favourite fruit so I decided to give this a try. Didn’t have dates so I substituted it for 2 tbsp of maple syrup and used coconut yoghurt instead. It is delicious and so refreshing wow!! Next time I need to add coconut flakes on top.
Love this smoothie. I didn’t expect it to keep me full for the entire morning but it did. The taste is delicious and easy to make. I prep all the ingredients the night before and in the morning throw it all together in the blender and I can be on my way.
Excellent smoothie ☺️ added about 1/2 cup spinach and only used 1 date as I like things a bit less sweet. Delicious!
This is a nice easy smoothie. I’ve made it a few times in the last week. I didn’t have yogurt so I substituted half a small avocado, which made it very creamy.
