Such a delicious drink! The nutmeg definitely isn’t optional! I’d definitely remake this one.
Most delicious! Not at all put off by the dates. Golden milk and hot cocoa in one - what’s not to love?!
I love the warmth of golden milk with the indulgence of hot chocolate. I tried adding a teaspoon of tahini for extra richness but it’s delicious and decadent as written.
Perfect!
Adding another date. I usually do dbl dbl
Looks so delicious!!! How much sugar without dates? I like dates but need to reduce sugar as I have candida overgrowth yeast bacteria. Still eating too much ice cream and other things as love sweets things but I need to have less sugar.
I look forward to trying this recipes, so many delicious ones, hard to choose.
I’ve added a dash of salt and some chilli flakes.
I used dark chocolate (not powder) too.
It was delicious! I’ll definitely make it again and again.
Thank you Sadia 💕
This is absolutely delicious!
Thank you for sharing this recipe with us.
Such a yummy comfort drink! 😋 Was wondering if its possible to make an iced version of this without diluting the flavour?
Thank you for sharing your relationship with food with us. I’m drinking this recipe right now :)
Loved this one! It’s so yummy and not overly sweet!
Love this recipe
Loved it
Yum 😋
I really enjoy this recipe, especially in the winters! Plus who doesn’t love chocolate and some spices 😉
This was such a cosy and comforting drink. Perfect to wind down in the night! ❤️
Yummy! It was a perfect thing to make on a cold rainy day. 😀 Thank you.
Delicious ❤️
Love it
I love, love, love your videos & recipes! I've made this recipe before & it's absolutely delicious! I like Christina's idea of putting the dry ingredients together & wondered if I could put powdered vanilla in this recipe instead of liquid. Do you think that would that work & about how much should I use? Thanks so much!!!
Decadent and mood-enhancing! Absolutely love it! In the recipe it doesn’t specify how much maple syrup to sub for the dates, can you please let me know? I used measurements based off of the Golden Milk recipe. Thank you!
This is so yum. Thick, rich, creamy. I already am planning to mix up a jar of the dry ingredients for a quick mug. Thank you!
Our most favourite hot chocolate of all 😋
It‘s really yummy 😋
I tried this right now and its fab;;;
Since seeing the YT video, this has become my go-to cold weather drink. It’s delicious!
I don't know how to describe this, but after trying the other hot chocolate recipes on the app, this one tastes more spice-y? Like it feels a bit earthy (?) because the chocolate flavour wasn't that strong. It was quite unexpected and a nice change!
I am now a hot chocolate fan! I made this using Oatmilk and dates. So creamy and well balanced in flavor.
My boyfriend made this for me and it was incredible! I was a bit sceptical about the turmeric at first but it adds a lovely flavour to the hot chocolate. Love it!
LOVE IT!! It's like a healthy hot chocolate but it makes me even more happier hahahaha perfect for cold weather 🍂❤️
How much maple syrup should we add instead of the dates?
Yum!! My husband and I loved this cozy recipe for our sweet tooth at night. Thank you so much, Sadia
This was AMAZING. My partner and I drank it before bed and it was sooo sooo soothing and calming. to use his quote "this is relaxation in a cup"
I love this hot drink! Good to drink next to my fireplace:)
I loved this recipe! I’m keep making it for cozy evenings!
Delicious x100! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. It's so yummy and soothing before bed. I can't wait to make it for my family. :)
The spice flavor is overpowering. I added 5 dates and the drink wasn't sweet enough. Even after adding a splash of rice syrup the bitterness of cacao and spices was too strong for my liking. I hope I'll at least have a good night sleep tonight 😉
This is the best hot chocolate I have ever had!! Thank you!
This was quite the delightful surprise! Definitely is going into my recipe collection!
i Find this site very helpfull . Tried to make dishes from learning this website . Also give good instruction with measurement of ingredients which is good for make the dish more tasty and delightful .
Delicious, we added more milk as we used mugs. The spices are a great touch to upgrade a normal hot chocolate.
My husband and I made this to to enjoy this evening. So delicious and creamy, we loved the flavor!
Looking forward to another tomorrow!
Thanks for sharing this one - I loved it so much I already prepped a whole jar of the spices to be able to make it on a fly whenever I feel like it. It is so calming to unwind with a nice hot cup of that in the evening.
Wow soooo creamy!!! Love it!
I’ve made this two days in a row now, it’s soooo comforting even thought it’s summer. I can definitely see this as my regular autumn/winter beverage.
Thank you for this recipe ! 😊
So good and flavorful. I added honey instead of dates.
Absolutely loved this and so it my boyfriend! The cinnamon and vanilla essence flavour came out so nicely!
Very tasty I was curious to see if the turmeric flavor would come out. It didn’t. I also added coffee to my cup. All and all it is a nice addition to my morning and possibly my evening routine as cacao in a warm drink before bed sounds like something to relax with, plus I was just reading about dates being good for colon health
Just tried making this, it’s definitely hit the sweet spot I was craving. I’d make this again for sure!! Thank you for the simple recipe!
I was just looking for a basic hot chocolate recipe and thought “yes, this will do” but ooooh my god, was i surprised. It turned out yummy and creamy, and it’s definitely my go to hot chocolate from now on! :)
Comfort in a cup. Hot chocolate is very rich and creamy.
This was delicious!! ✨
I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was and it was a very light hot chocolate which was so enjoyable. ⛄️
I highly recommend adding the suggested pepper.
This is my favourite beverage! I drink it hot and cold :) I'm not a coffee fan and so this is "my" version of ice cacao. Nevertheless I would love some ice cacao recipes!
Your work and website is stunning and because of you I turned vegan. Pick up limes inspires me so much! Thank you for all!
Lots of love from Austria!
One of my all-time favorites! I seriously drink this all the time during the fall and winter. Sometimes I'll throw a shot or two of espresso in as well. It's the perfect afternoon pick me up in the colder months.
