This dressing is a perfect pop of sunshine to add to a meal.

Hey PUL! If you’re a mustard hater like me, what would you recommend adding in its place? Sending love from Vancouver, Canada.

Hey Monika, you can just leave the mustard out. Maybe just give it a taste test and see if it might need a bit of sweetener to help balance the acids :) enjoy!

Renata - Feb. 15, 2024, 10:50 a.m.

I pick this recipe - one of our staple sauces since quite a while - just to thank Sadia and the PUL team for being our precious guide/traveling companion in our veganuary and transition to a plant-based diet. My husband and I already experimented a lot woth PUL recipes since 2020, but with veganuary we were even more motivated in trying new tastes. Veganuary was a very inspiring journey and it was easier than expected: we owe you. Greetings from Italy.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support, Renata! We're so honoured to be welcomed on you and your husband's plant-based journey. We're excited to share more culinary adventures together, and are sending all our love to Italy πŸ’›

Hi ! Could you please guide regarding the miso paste. I noticed you used different (i clicked on the link) miso pastes in your different recipes. This ingredient is totally new for me. So i was wondering if you could guide which one I should get. As in does one kind work for all your recipes? I do have a local Asian grocery store near by so i think they would have all the varieties.
Thanks

Hey Maham, thanks for the question! There are different colour miso pastes which have different flavour profiles. We tend to prefer white miso paste as it's less salty and milder in taste, but honestly, they can for the most part be used interchangeably. If you opt to use other types, such as red miso paste, you may want to start with less and add more to taste in recipes πŸ™‚

Epic

Mimi - Oct. 16, 2021, 9:49 p.m.

I like this recipe so much! All my roommates were fascinated by its looking and flavor. And it's super easy to do meal prep. Just wish there would be more recipes like this in the future! Great job Sadia!

Aw thank you, Mimi, it means so much! We'll note down a request for more recipes like this one in the future πŸ˜ƒ

Loving this dressing so much πŸ˜‹β€οΈ Had to improvise a bit, because I didn't have all the ingredients on hand, but it's delicious either way πŸ‘πŸΌ

Julia - July 26, 2021, 6:31 a.m.

This was so much more refreshing and flavorful than stuff I would buy bottled at the grocery store. Would recommend making it in larger quantities so you don't have to keep dirtying your blender if you use sauce throughout the week. I put it on salads but also quinoa bowls and as a drizzle atop a pasta dish. Probably need to like tahini for this sauce, but I don't see that as a bad thing at all :)

Mmm love all of these ideas, Julia, thanks a bunch for sharing πŸ€—

Liette - July 25, 2021, 2:25 p.m.

I regularly make this recipe on weeknights. Easy to meal prep and assemble quickly for dinner. It's fresh and comforting at the same time. And what about the sauce? I love, love the sauce πŸ˜πŸ˜‹ It's takes only a few minutes to do and it elevates this dish, or any other salad or sandwich, to another level. Thanks Sadia!

We appreciate this so much, Liette - so happy you enjoyed it!

Liz - July 25, 2021, 2:05 a.m.

I make this often and put it on everything. Especially delicious with roasted Brussels sprouts.

Ooo, good idea!

Grace - July 2, 2021, 8:29 p.m.

So good! Everything is perfect. Personally, I like to add a bit of sweetness so I include about a half teaspoon of maple syrup/honey. Thanks for sharing, Sadia!

We're so glad you're enjoying the sauce, Grace! A touch of sweetness sounds delicious 😍
