Looking for some inspiration for the new year's party buffet and am wondering: I don't have any pomegranate molasses, nor do I know where to buy it here in Germany 😅 is it strictly necessary or could I replace it with, say, maple syrup? Thanks in advance :)

Hey Maria, oooh a New Year’s Eve buffet sounds incredible. You can absolutely leave out the pomegranate molasses if it’s hard to find. It mainly adds a sweet tangy note, so you can replace it with a splash of balsamic vinegar for acidity, a little maple syrup for sweetness, or a mix of both. For something closest in sweet/tangy flavour, a small splash of balsamic glaze could work rather well I imagine. I hope you enjoy it if you try it out! And happy new year in advance!

Thanks a bunch! Will give it a try! Happy new year to you guys, too 🎉

Sadly, this is the first recipe that I try from the app that was not liked either by me or my partner, I did it exactly like the recipe (some other recipe I was not a fan of but I felt I missed on something while doing the recipe, or at least I know that trying again while changing some stuff a bit would make it work better), but for this one I don't see what or how I could modify it to like it more. It has flavour, it's salty and sour and bitter, tastes quite strongly of olive (so I guess it's very good for olive lovers!), it is not "bad" as in "I won't finish it", but it's not something we will want to eat again. (I've loved so many of your recipes that I really want to like them all, but this one did not make the cut for us!)

Hey Nohya, we really appreciate your honest feedback! Totally get that not every recipe will be a hit for everyone. It sounds like the strong olive flavour was the main factor. In any case, we hope you and your partner continue to enjoy our other recipes more 🥰

These tasted really good - I can't believe I forgot to rate them. Our daughter loved them too but without the yogurt dip. Olives and garlic are favoured at our house so these were a perfect fit.

I made them with dough from my bakery, soooo good at dinner or brunch! Already a classic!

Mine don’t look as good, but they do taste very good! Great recipe.

Very good, a little too salty but that's probably because of the olives we used. Also quite garlicy, not really something you can bring to the office! Would make again with some small adjustments.

soooo yummy, i put the chili flakes in the yogurt tahini sauce, a little messy to eat so prepare yourself but worth it
