This delicious granola was inspired by baklava, a sweet dessert that consists of layers of filo pastry sheets, filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with sugar syrup or honey. Every country has their version of this delicious treat, and we took inspiration from the classic pistachio and walnut baklava. The granola is sweet, nutty and a little sticky, perfect to pair with some yogurt and fruit!

Oh, my goodness! I made just a single batch because I wanted to make sure we’d like it. But from now on, it’ll be double batches! The flavor is surprisingly complex, having fairly few ingredients. So yummy!

I was surprised that the recipe did not call for chopping the nuts or stirring the granola halfway, but it turned out well.

Substituted maple syrup with agave, and it is delicious. I'm already excited to eat this for breakfast for the rest of the week!

Absolutely delicious! Chewy and crunchy all the at the same time with a lovely flavour! 😍 As a Coeliac this is my new favourite way to enjoy baklava minus the gluten.
