Directions
- Line a baking tray and preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C)*.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, agave syrup, and salt until very well combined.
- Pour this wet mixture over the dry ingredients and toss to coat.
- Evenly distribute over the baking tray.
- Bake on the centre rack of the oven for 20 - 25 minutes, or until lightly golden, stirring once or twice throughout. Once cooled, stir in the add-ins.
- Transfer to an airtight container or large glass storage jar. Enjoy!

- * We used top and bottom heating (not fan-assisted/convection).

What a fantastic recipe Sadia!
I just found this on my social media feed, and here it is: my whole apartment smells like the most delicious hazelnut praline!
I only added a tablespoon of hazelnut butter to make it more hazelnut-y and baked it for 8 minutes longer since I am allergic to raw and light-roasted hazelnuts, but not those that are baked to golden colour. It was divine!

So 1st off I have to admit I didn't read the recipe through before I started actually making it so I mixed the "add ins" in before baking it. Luckily I put some baking paper into the tray so there was surprisingly little mess. It still tastes amazing with some plain yogurt and a pomegranate seeds/ blueberries fresh mix on top with just a touch of almond milk.
Almost doubled hazelnuts. I left it in the oven for 30 minutes to brown it even more. I enjoyed it with some milk this morning. Was good! 🥣
The chocolate hazelnut combination is delicious :) I make the pul granola recipes all the time. Usually three recipes at the same time every 2/3 weeks, and we have it for breakfast almost every day. I cook all pul granola recipes for 20-25 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius and that works well, I never had a burned batch.
Delicious breakfast for busy mornings (that is almost every morning🤭). Enjoy your make ahead breakfasts.

I loved seeing the recipe and mid-way through the baking I went to move it and it was looking great! Then i came back at the 30 mins and it's definitely overtoasted. I'm still eating it and its good (and didn't want to throw out), but I definitely think 350 degrees is too high maybe? Next time I'll do 250 F at 30min. Thank you!
I really like all your recipes, but this one isn't so good. I put it in the oven for only 20 minutes (and stirred every 10 minutes), but it is burnt, so more than 1/3 of the whole granola I'll have to throw away. As for the rest - I'm not sure yet if it's good enough to eat (not too burnt).
I recommend stirring every 5 minutes. Maybe in this case everything would be all right...
I'm thinking maybe there's a mistake in the recipe and it should be 120 degrees, not 180.
Anyway, I'll try it next time with some improvements. It feels like this granola should be tasty :)
A very simple and tasty recipe. Swapped figs for cranberries and I found that baking for 30 minutes is more than long enough (it almost overtoasted). Enjoyed this for breakfast with some home-made nut butter and pomegranate seeds.
I've made this at least 4 times now, every time it finishes :D its the only granola recipe I use now! I skip the figs as I don't like the taste, and increase the seeds or nuts. I've found almonds or macadamias a good substitute for the hazelnuts
I just made this granola this morning and love it! The recipe is super straight forward and it came out delicious. I didn’t have any figs on hand so I replaced it with dried Deglet Noor dates. I served the granola with strawberries and yogurt. This recipe is a keeper. Thank you so much
This granola is my favorite! I do it with dried cranberries instead of figs, just because I don't like figs. It is yummy to eat it on its own as well 😄
My favorite of all the Granola recipes :) although i love them all and switch between the granola recipes on this side every week. My boyfriend likes the Double Chocolate Granola the most.

This by far is my most FAVORITE recipe. I've made it countless times! But today I wanted to let you know that I did something different. My figs looked like they went bad, so I decided to omit them in the recipe all together. Instead I added freshly cubed apples along with soymilk, and it was still fabulous. The mini chocolate chips, maple syrup, coconut sugar (wanted to experiment w/ a different type of sugar), and apples provide enough sugar that I didn't even miss the figs. My tongue & stomach will appreciate the yumminess and nutrition, respectively.
From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for your Youtube videos and website. If it were not for the internet and you, I would have not developed a healthier eating lifestyle. I mean you used to live in Canada and now the Netherlands - I would have never been able to meet with you without the internet! Can we use coconut oil instead of a vegetable oil? or will it not cook as well?

Hello there. I have already made it quite few times. Since hazelnuts tend to be a bit on the pricy side I used walnuts and turned out really delicious. I could say this become one of my favourite breakfast choices together with plant based milk and frozen blueberries ^^.
Absolutely delicious!! Crunchy, not too sweet, and combination of chocolate and figs (a “mature” taste). I’m so happy that I manage to prepare a crispy granola only using maple syrup. In the end, what can possibly go wrong with a little bit of chocolate, figs, and nuts? I think that I’ll try to substitute hazelnuts for almonds next time: they both have a characteristic flavour working very well with figs🤔👩🏼🔬

Delicious granola :). I make this granola if I don't have the "Hazelnut Granola Breakfast Bars". Very tasty. I sometimes half the amount of sugars if I want to feel more healthy and it still tastes amazing. Recommended

Also can I use any other replacement for vegetable oil -may be like sunflower oil?
