Super tasty! I'll definetely repeat it!

Fleur - Aug. 26, 2024, 3:49 p.m.

Love it!! Please specify g, ml or cup for the medjol dates, sometimes l use normal dates and then I want to know how much I need of them🙏

PUL small logo PUL Team - Aug. 26, 2024, 10:13 p.m.

Hey Fleur, thanks for connecting! One date on average for us is 22-25g so 7 Medjool dates in this orange apricot energy ball recipe are around 155-175 grams 🤗

Nour Dukmak - Aug. 3, 2024, 11:15 p.m.

Yum 😋 I love how healthy and nutrient dense these energy balls are and they taste good too. I don’t care for orange zest much so I left it out and it works just fine!

Lia - June 19, 2024, 5:14 a.m.

So yummy!

Elena - April 26, 2024, 4:24 p.m.

They almost taste like cookie dough (maybe cause i didn’t have dried apricots and orange zest…), easy recipe and a great snack!!

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 28, 2024, 7:46 p.m.

Mmm love it! So glad it was enjoyed with the modifications, Elena 😊

Elyse - March 28, 2024, 2:36 a.m.

Definitely tasty! I swapped peanut butter for almond butter. Didn’t quite have the right flavor - - recommend to stick to the recipe (if you can have PB)

Vanina Gabriela Salgado - March 27, 2024, 12:01 p.m.

Great recipe!!! They are yummy and a blessing to have in the fridge. In the first step I blended everything but the oats and added them later because my blender is not very powerful, came out with a great texture

Wilma - March 17, 2024, 8:02 a.m.

PUL team can you help me? What are butter beans called in the Dutch supermarket? I'm not so sure about it.

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 19, 2024, 12:29 a.m.

Hiya Wilma! In Dutch supermarkets, butter beans are often labelled as "boterbonen" or "lima bonen". You can find them in the canned beans section or sometimes in the dried beans and bulk aisle. We personally get them at Albert Heijn☺️

Dicey - Jan. 26, 2024, 1:37 a.m.

Really easy to make, came together really well when rolling into balls.
Great pick me up for afternoon treat

PUL small logo PUL Team - Jan. 26, 2024, 5:08 p.m.

We’re so happy that the balls were enjoyed, Dicey - thank you! 😊

Louise Magnusson - Dec. 18, 2023, 11:48 a.m.

What a surprise that these energy balls hold together so well with the bean base. Convenient to make in the blender and the mixture was easy to handle. Love the taste of orange and chocolate, the texture is great. I think that one ball together with some fruits worked well for an afternoon fika😉

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 19, 2023, 4:06 a.m.

So glad you enjoyed the energy balls, Louise! Pairing one with some fruit sounds lovely 😃

D - Nov. 13, 2023, 7:07 p.m.

Loved it, tastes like cookie dough but even better

Elizabeth Young - Sept. 10, 2023, 6:07 p.m.

This recipe is super delicious and easy to make. Using butter beans is brilliant! My partner said it tastes like a mini donut, haha. Many thanks!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 11, 2023, 3:04 a.m.

Many thanks back to you, Elizabeth, we're so happy the bliss balls were enjoyed 😃

Christine M - Aug. 20, 2023, 5:51 a.m.

These are lovely! I love the sneaky bean-base. Great protein and nutrients!

Casey - Aug. 7, 2023, 1:32 a.m.

Cláudia - July 1, 2023, 11:17 a.m.

There are a few pre-steps that I would love seeing included in the actual directions (like "finely chop almonds"). It seems that throwing everything the food processor is one of the last things you do to make this xD Does that make sense? Thank you for this recipe, it is going on my list :D

Cláudia - July 2, 2023, 10:52 a.m.

For example, the first step in your Comforting Coconut Red Lentil Daal in the app is: "Prepare the ingredients below. These will be used later on." This makes total sense! I think adding this here would help and also make the information on prep and total time more realistic.

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 4, 2023, 12:34 a.m.

Hey there Cláudia! We typically include a prep page (page 0) if prepping before cooking could help to avoid burning. This recipe therefore doesn't have a prep page, but for now, I've updated the photo on page 2/3 of the cook-along 'make' mode so that you can better see how finely the almonds are chopped. I hope this helps for now, many thanks for your feedback - it really helps us improve what we do!

Cláudia - July 4, 2023, 10:01 a.m.

Ah, so there is a reason for omitting the prepping...! I was actually seeing this "omission" in other recipes and not others, and now I see the former were cold snacks/breakfast, so it makes sense.

As a novice cook, I'd still prefer to have these steps spelled out, but understanding the why is helpful. Thanks so much ☺️

Tania Allan - June 29, 2023, 2 p.m.

What could we use in place of butter beans? I am not finding them at the store. Navy beans or white kidney? Or would that be too noticeable I’m texture or taste? Or chickpeas? Thank you 🙏🏻

PUL small logo PUL Team - June 30, 2023, 7:41 a.m.

Hey Tania, white beans, such as cannellini beans or Great Northern beans would work best as they have a super mild taste. There may be slight differences in texture and taste if you use something else, like chickpeas, but the balls should still turn out delicious 🤗

Regina - June 8, 2023, 11:31 a.m.

Very easy, healthy and yummie! 🤩 Never would have imagined butter beans could be used in such a recipe, but I was pleasantly surprised! Thanks for sharing!!

PUL small logo PUL Team - June 8, 2023, 7:32 p.m.

It means so much, Regina, thank you! 😊
