This is genius 🥰 this recipe is so comforting but doesn’t make you feel guilty. I like to make a large amount and then putting some in a small bowl with fresh raspberries for a perfect snack. 🫶

Mmm pairing the cookie dough dip recipe with raspberries sounds incredible, Chatcheper! 😍
AJ - Feb. 12, 2025, 7:31 p.m.
This recipe is the closest I have found to be satisfying when I have cookie dough craving! It was weird at first of course because of the beans, but don’t be afraid of those first few taste test bites not having that 100% cookie dough taste!! I’d say this recipe is 99.9% cookie dough like 😂 Once I mixed it more for as smooth of a consistency as I could get, added the choc chips, and then refrigerated it - it was it!! Perfectly satisfying and fulfilling with some good macros and micros 💚
PUL Team - Feb. 12, 2025, 11:04 p.m.
We're so glad you enjoyed the recipe! It’s amazing how versatile ingredients like beans can create such a satisfying cookie dough experience. Thanks for sharing your tips, AJ 🥰

Yes of course!! Thank you for making this platform such an interactive place to do this! :)

This has easily become a favorite for my whole family. It hits the sweet spot. We love dipping apples, strawberries, and graham crackers in it 😋
It is one of the only ways my food-skeptical toddler eats beans, and she can't get enough. She just licks it off her apple slices and wants another dip.
It's just so, so good!
Cassidy - Oct. 21, 2024, 3:11 a.m.
Forgot to add- We have snickerdoodle, cookie dough, and cheesecake dips.... I'd love for a similar one but brownie flavored 🤩
PUL Team - Oct. 21, 2024, 3:06 p.m.
Hey Cassidy, aw we're so glad to hear the dips are being enjoyed! It's always a big compliment when the little ones savour a recipe too 🥰 we've added a brownie dip to our list of future recipe ideas. In the meantime, you might like our app-exclusive chocolate tofu dip or chocolate chickpea dip recipes!

Yum! I'll go look those up right now, thanks 😄
Cassidy - Oct. 29, 2024, 7:37 p.m.
I just made a yummy variation of this dip! It's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
Add 1 cup canned pumpkin Add 1/2 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice Increase chocolate chips to 1/3 cup
Dipping apples was pretty good. Our favorite was pretzels.
Talia K - Sept. 19, 2024, 4:32 p.m.
I was so skeptical of this -- a bean based cookie dough dip?? -- but it turned out great!!! Will definitely be turning to this recipe when I have a cookie craving in the future!
Morgane - Aug. 31, 2024, 10:13 p.m.
My boyfriend and I talked about this recipe earlier and we were quite hesitant regarding butter beans. So when I came home I decided to give it a go and I was so surprised by the taste as it does taste like cookie dough! I can’t wait for my boyfriend to try it too, he loves cookie dough!
PUL Team - Sept. 2, 2024, 3:25 a.m.
Awe so glad to hear that the cookie dough dip recipe was enjoyed, Morgane! We hope your boyfriend enjoys it as well 🫶
Alexis S - Aug. 22, 2024, 5:38 a.m.
Love this recipe! Was surprised that it could taste like a dessert with the addition of the beans— such a great protein! I swapped the butter beans for chickpeas and it still came out great.
Leah - July 3, 2024, 2:04 a.m.
This recipe got me to try butter beans! For those in the US shopping in supermarkets, I found canned butter beans with the canned vegetables, not the canned beans. I think they are also called Lima beans. I had these with green apples, but I think it would also be great with Graham crackers.
PUL Team - July 3, 2024, 3:38 a.m.
Yay so happy to hear that the dip was enjoyed, Leah, and thanks for the tip! 🤩

Hey, PUL Team 👋👋👋
Does this achieve dessert-like consistency? If not, can it be achieved by tweaking in somehow?
I am planning an Easter meal for elderly people with dentures and denture-related issues, so I thought a cream sort of thing might do the trick for the last course. I would serve it in fancy glassware with a layer of cream or fruit preserve on top. Do you think it can work?
I want to try and simplify the dessert, since appetizers and main are going to be time -and utensils- consuming 😅😅😅!
Thanks in advance 😉 and keep up the GREAT work 💪👏👏👏
Love from GC,
Karmen
PUL Team - March 27, 2024, 12:05 a.m.
Hey there, Carmen, this Cookie Dough Dip does seem like a dessert but it's a bit thick and has chocolate chips, so it could cause some issues with dentures. You could add some liquid to thin it out if needed. Alternatively, our Thick Dark Chocolate Pudding is a softer idea: https://www.pickuplimes.com/r…. Sending lots of love to GC 😊
Carmen Riera Quintana - March 29, 2024, 9:45 p.m.
Dear PUL Team,
Thanks a bunch! I do not have silken tofu at hand to try the alternative suggested, so I will try adding some oat milk or rice cooking cream to the dough. I'll let you know how it turns out ;)
Big hug,
Karmen

Hey, there, PUL Team 👋👋👋
Ended up adding cream, and the texture and consistency were those of a super creamy mousse. Oh, and I also subbed the chocolate chips with chocolate shavings, much easier to pass through. For a nice "eastery" finishing touch, I garnished with sugar Easter-themed sprinkles 🐇🦋🥚🤭🤭🤭. Gosh, I wish I could upload a pic to show you how good this looked! The taste, as you already know, was divine 😋😋😋
Thanks again for everything 😉🤗😘
Love,
Karmen

So shockingly good! I was very unsure but so glad I made this!
Marguerite De Valois - March 9, 2024, 6:25 p.m.
Parfait. Sans gluten. Un goûter gourmand pour petits et grands. À faire et à refaire. Je pense qu'il est tout à fait possible de switcher le beurre de noix de cajou pour du beurre de cacahuètes.
Yuliya Nikiforets - Jan. 8, 2024, 9:03 a.m.
I was shocked that this tastes as good as it does! The vanilla extract is really what makes this taste like a cookie dough, so don’t skip it! I felt that it was yummier just licking it off a spoon. The apples didn’t pair well for me so I’m going to try it on toast with banana tomorrow!
P.S. Using canned beans is SO much simpler than soaking and cooking your own.

This is really delicious. The challenging part is to keep some for later! I used peanut butter (peanut butter chocolate chip cookies!) instead of cashew butter, and it worked great.
Phillipa - Nov. 27, 2023, 2:16 p.m.
My husband made this for us yesterday. Absolutely delicious and toddler approved. He cut down the chocolate chips to an 1/8 of a cup so that she didn't have so many but we didn't miss the extra - although I'm sure it's even more delicious with them.
PUL Team - Nov. 27, 2023, 8:21 p.m.
Aw how nice of your husband! It's always a big compliment when the little ones approve too. Thank you, Phillipa!
Nikki - Oct. 23, 2023, 2:27 a.m.
This was a surprisingly yummy treat with apples! I added a bit of almond flavoring and that took it over the top. Kid-approved, too!
Nerissa - July 18, 2023, 7:13 a.m.
Definitely a pleasant and tasty surprise! I didn’t expect to like it because of the beans but my husband and I really like the outcome!! Can’t stop eating it. 😆
PUL Team - July 20, 2023, 8:34 a.m.
Woohoo! Thank you, Nerissa, enjoy the dip :)
Nadia - July 13, 2023, 8:08 p.m.
It’s really really tasty! Definitely give it a try! Incredibly easy to make and approved by many non vegans!
Juliana - July 7, 2023, 2:54 a.m.
I’ll admit to being hesitant about this one—beans in a cookie dip? It seemed a little fringe. Make no mistake, THIS IS AMAZING! The texture isn’t quite cookie dough, but the spirit is there. Perfect for when you’re craving a little sweet treat. Took no time at all to whip up and tasted phenomenal with apples. What a great way to get more dietary fiber in!
PUL Team - July 8, 2023, 7:06 p.m.
Aw so happy to hear, Juliana, thank you! Apples are a delicious idea 😎
Finn - July 3, 2023, 2:15 a.m.
SO tasty, holy cow.
Finn - July 3, 2023, 2:24 a.m.
I rushed a review because I was more focused on adding this recipe to my Nourish cell (one of my favorite parts of the PUL app) but I want to expand —
- This is so, so so easy to make. And incredibly rewarding for the low effort. Don’t doubt yourself; just make this. - I used half a can of cannellini beans, a mix of cashew and almond butter, and a splash of chia seeds with the chocolate chips for extra crunch. - I hate cleaning my blender, so I made this in a quart container with an immersion blender. Worked WONDERS — plus I have the vessel it will live in for the next few days. - I cannot emphasize how delicious this is. I finished all my apple slices while typing this and now I need more apples.
PUL Team - July 4, 2023, 1:34 a.m.
Oh, Finn, we're beyond thrilled to hear the glowing review 🥹 thank you for the kid words and support!
Mara Hinchliff - June 11, 2023, 9:06 a.m.
So quick and easy to make and quite versatile. I spread some of it on a toasted seeded bagel with vegan butter! Yum!
PUL Team - June 11, 2023, 6:46 p.m.
Mmm sounds delicious! Thank you, Mara 🫶
Emilia Simina Ciobanu - May 11, 2023, 7:22 a.m.
It is soooo good! I made it with hazelnut butter and tastes like nougat! Amazing! Thank you very much!
