If you are a cheesecake lover, then you absolutely must give this dip a go! The addition of butter beans as an unexpected ingredient gives this dip a creamy texture while providing ample fiber and protein. Surprisingly, you won't even notice the presence of butter beans. We believe that fresh strawberries make an excellent accompaniment for this cheesecake dip, but feel free to use any fruit you prefer—it's sure to be a delightful combination.

I swapped the cream for a little bit of soy milk. Less creamy 🤏🏼, but delicious and it works well!

I swapped cream cheese for yogurt and cashew butter for almond butter because that is what I had and it was delicious and super quick to make! I'm excited to eat this later in the week 🤤🤤

It was so good! I also happen to be a birthday cake lover. My birthday is in 4 days! Can you share a recipe for a birthday cake dip?
Sending love :)

Ooo happy early birthday, Wendy! Thanks for the request 🥳 in the meantime, if you're on our app you may enjoy the Snickerdoodle Dip, Cookie Dough Dip, or Chocolate Tofu Dip.

Love it! Because I don’t like to eat it at refrigerator temperature (and not patient enough to let it come to room temperature) I wanted to reheat it in the microwave . Because I overdid the heat it turned out as a delicious mugcake. 🙈 Sooo, this is a 2 in 1 recipe.

Would any milk or just soy milk work for these?
PUL Team - June 6, 2024, 5:24 p.m.
Hi Brielle, there's no soy milk in the cheesecake dip. I wonder if this was meant for a different recipe? 🙂

Hello, I have a question. First of all, looks, sounds, and probably is delicious. One problem. I'm allergic to cashews. What can I use instead? Thank you!
PUL Team - June 6, 2024, 5:22 p.m.
Hey Amy, thanks for the kind words and interest in the dip! Any nut or seed butter could work. It'll change the taste of the dip a bit, but we've heard several positive reviews for almond butter and one for peanut butter instead 🤗
Amy Cole - June 26, 2024, 9:04 p.m.
Hello again! I am allergic to all nuts. Almonds, and peanut. What can I use instead of nut butter or seed butter in general?
PUL Team - June 28, 2024, 4:47 a.m.
Hi Amy, thanks for the question. You could consider swapping the cashew butter with coconut butter if that's okay allergy-wise or perhaps additional vegan cream cheese to maintain the creamy texture. Just be sure to adjust the dip to taste 😊

I made the cheescake dip using canellini beans and the snickerdoodle dip using butter beans/Weiße Riesen Bohnen. Butter beans make for a slightly firmer dip which I prefere. So far I had it as snack of dip and fruit, spread on toasted sourdoughbread with banane, made rice cake treats, salad wraps and salad/Chicorée tacos. Next I'm thinking regular wraps and tacos. Yummy!

THIS RECIPE SLAPS! I am always suspicious of bean dessert recipes but I’m so glad I took a chance on this. I made it with Miyoko’s cream cheese and didn’t realize the cream cheese itself wasn’t as tasty as i’d like it to be, so i think with a better cream cheese it’d be even more mind blowing! Definitely give it plenty of time to chill before serving. Also, I found myself wishing for graham cracker crumbles sprinkled on top, so have those on hand.

I absolutely loved this dip accompanied by some green apple wedges! 😍 It's great because it satisfies the dessert craving but without making you feel guilty. I tried this twice: the first time, my partner wasn't 100% convinced by the consistency, so the second time I peeled the beans before mixing them and the consistency improved. Needless to say, he loved it too 😉

This recipe is PERFECTION!! 🥰 From the day I saw it posted on the website I simply dreamed about it and after going through the hassle of purchasing vegan cream cheese (not available anywhere close to where I live) and visiting a friend with a Thermomix (in order to make cashew butter) I finally prepared it 😀 I definitely recommend topping it with the freeze dried raspberries, it gives the dip an amazing flavor. I had this with some apple wedges and I'm already kinda sleepy 😉 Thank you so much for this recipe! It will definitely up my fruit intake. Nothing like dipping it in this delightful creamy goodness 😋

PUL Team - Aug. 14, 2023, 2:50 a.m.
Hey Pernia, yes you can use another nut butter like almond butter if you'd like. It will change the flavour profile slightly (cashew butter is just very subtle in taste) but the dip should still be delicious with another nut butter 😊

Do you think black beans or kidney beans would work?
PUL Team - Aug. 4, 2023, 4:01 p.m.
Hey Hannah, we wouldn't advise it to be honest. Butter beans have a neutral flavour, and a naturally creamy texture compared to the black beans and kidney beans. I'm afraid using any other kind of bean would be too overpowering in taste, and the texture might also be a bit too gritty. Any kind of white/lima bean should work though, in case that's an option 😊
