This soup was excellent and really reminded me of the flavours I remember from restaurants growing up. Love that there are a lot of veggies - although it does mean a bit more prep time.

Hey D, if you're not a fan of mushrooms, you could try substituting them with diced zucchini or bell peppers for a different texture and flavour. We'd love to hear how it turns out if you give the recipe a try 🙌

Okay, this is hands down my favorite soup! Soooo good and we've already made it thrice 😆😁

Instead of pairing this up with rice, we have it on its own, and also make the PUL kimbap for a fuller meal all together and it is perfect!

The only downside here is that it took MUCH, MUCH longer than what the recipe said :(( and that was really disheartening and frustrating. Did it really take only 15 minutes to chop onions, mushroom, julienne carrots, minced garlic and ginger and more? If so, would you mind sharing some tips and tricks as to how you do that? I spent over 45 mins just cutting veggies :(

Made the soup this week. The first bowl was okay. Then i warmed it up later in the dar for a second bowl and it was better. Finally the following day I warmed it up for breakfast and it was soooo good. It just kept getting better and better.

I tried this recipe today andI love it! :-)It is so simple to put together . I turned it into a noodle soup by adding rice noodles when the soup was simmering. It was like cherry on the cake :)

Super delish! I probably didn’t de-seed the chilies enough so was quite spicy but it was still enjoyed. Did take me longer than said just because there is quite a bit of prep, in saying that definitely worth it!

This is better than in any restaurant. It tastes so fresh and not at all gloopy!
I did have to make a couple of substitutions as I couldn't get sugar snap peas (except for a few I picked out of a frozen wok mix pack) or shiitake mushrooms. I did, however, have a pack of dried wood ear mushrooms at home and these worked brilliantly and the green beans I added provided an extra fresh crunch. I'll definitely be making this again. Looking forward to trying the leftovers tomorrow.
Thank you for another great recipe and for enhancing our mealtimes.
