Making this again! Love the flavors and the freshness. Who knew - I actually like radishes!?

ines - Oct. 31, 2024, 1:12 p.m.

crunchy and delicious 😋 two portions was a main for me, with my favorite smoked tofu added to pump up the protein and a slice of focaccia for some additional carbs this is my new fav way to eat kohlrabi. the dressing hits the sweet spot of spicy with the chili flakes for me - love!

Mmm smoked tofu sounds lovely! So glad that the salad was enjoyed, Ines 🥰

ISHA GUPTA - Sept. 25, 2024, 8:15 p.m.

How to cut such thin layer of apples?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 25, 2024, 10:33 p.m.

Hey Isha, we get lots of practice chopping which helps! For this recipe, we thinly sliced the apples and then cut them into matchsticks. If it's easier, you could try a fruit or veggie slicer such as a mandoline 🤗

I enjoyed this crunchy salad. Because the radish I bought was very strong, I marinated it in lemon juice before adding it to the salad. The combination turned out great.

Marie Pietquin - July 19, 2024, 8:06 p.m.

I loved it. I roasted the nuts and seeds in the airfryer (without adding oil). 180°C for 8 minutes. The taste was incredible ! Great choice of ingredients combination.

Super crunchy and delicious for summer. I can already see myself making this weekly in the coming months :)

Elke - April 28, 2024, 6:28 p.m.

Very delicious. I made a few modifications, had no radishes. I threw a few pomegranate seeds in the salad and instand of sunflower seeds an pistacchios uni used roasted hazelnuts i hat leftover from another dish. My Kohlrabi was a very big one, so i used 2 apples but only one portion of the dressing. Easy to make and so yummi.

Super refreshing! Making it again this week 😋

Great salad! I always have these veggies in my fridge, but I would never thought about making a salad out of them!

another Jule - March 1, 2024, 11:28 p.m.

Wasn't the biggest fan of the olive oil in this salad, a bit too strong for my taste. Used a more mild yet nuttier oil instead and it worked better for me.
Prepped double and stored kohlrabi/radishes and dressing separately so I only had to cut the apple every day.

Öznur - March 1, 2024, 12:29 p.m.

Loved it! Do you have any tips for peeling the kohlrabi? The peeler gets stuck in the bumpy parts.

Jule - March 1, 2024, 11:38 p.m.

I use a paring knife. I peel the tougher parts (lower half, where the stem was) with the knife (cut the peel off as thin as possible while still removing woody fibers) . The upper half ist offen less tough so I just cut into the skin a little and peel it carefully like you would an orange if that makes sense.

Hey Öznur, so glad you loved it, and these are lovely tips Jule! Similarly, we used a sharp knife to first cut off the top and bottom, to create a stable base. Then using a pairing knife, we cut away the tough outer layer :)

Öznur - March 2, 2024, 5:51 p.m.

Thank you to both of you!

Jule - Feb. 25, 2024, 9:50 p.m.

I already knew this salad combination and really like it. I also tried the salad with almonds instead of sunflower seeds <3 It was so delicious.

So happy to hear it was enjoyed, Jule!
