cosy soup lover - July 17, 2025, 4:30 p.m.

This is my first comment. Today I was having a particularly difficult day battling nightmares and was on the bus craving something comforting. I made your recipe with the addition of fresh tomatoes, thyme, and celery root instead of fresh celeries and it felt so cosy and nourishing. I felt so much better after cooking this simple dish and it made my day a lot better. As an adult I find it hard to take care of myself when Im too tired to cook but thanks for the consistency in quality with all the recipes here. The app feels very reliable as everything I tried (10-15 recipes so far?) always was super yummy, easy, and nourishing!

Hey there, friend, gosh your words are incredibly inspiring 🥹🥹 It’s not always easy to cook or care for ourselves when we’re feeling low. The fact that you showed up for yourself in that way is something to be really proud of! We're honoured that the app could be a companion in that moment, and we're so grateful to be welcomed into your kitchen. Sending you warmth and strength, always 💛

This was utterly delicious! I did feel hungry after a couple of hours but I just had some of the leftovers. The broth was refreshing and light. Perfect!

I used a veggie bujon cube instead of a broth and it turned out amazing!! That way you can enjoy a bit stronger flavor if you're not pregnant and you worry it will be bland. Loved it and will definitely make it again! 🩷

Absolutely perfect weeknight meal! Very little prep and cleanup😊 I can’t wait to make this again. Thank you PUL❤️

I love this kind of soup !!
C'est bon et facile à faire :)
Et je confirme que cela m'a fait pensé à ce que je pouvais manger pendant mes nausées de grossesse...

Turned out VERY bland. Needs lots of toppings to be eatable, but even then the broth is just extremely bland.

Hey Alisa, sorry to hear the recipe missed the mark! The broth is intended to be mild, it's part of a pregnancy collection we're building for people who experience nausea but still want to enjoy something nourishing, light, and not too strong in taste. With that said, if you'd like to enhance the taste, we'd recommend adding more bouillon, soy sauce, a splash of rice vinegar, or a bit of miso paste for extra depth. Fresh herbs like cilantro or a squeeze of lime can also help brighten it up.
