Very easy and tasty

Amy Q - Jan. 25, 2025, 1:28 a.m.

Maybe my lemon was a little too juicy, I thought it really overpowered the other flavors. Reheated the next day without the lemon juice and loved it!

ilaria - Jan. 22, 2025, 9:46 a.m.

What a delicious surprise!!! I had some buckwheat at home and no idea how to cook it and this was amazing!! So tasty and delicious!!!

Lovely dish. As a sworn buckwheat hater I can say that this meal is great and tasty. Portion for 1 person is HUGE 🫣

Ákos - June 16, 2024, 4:32 p.m.

Amazing flavor and such a fun texture! I waited for it to cool, crumbled some vegan feta on top and ate it as a salad. Will be making it again!

Dominika - May 19, 2024, 2:31 p.m.

I love one-pot meals😉this is so simple and delicious✨

anjali singh - May 11, 2024, 10:39 a.m.

I don't understand the process. Do you rinse the groats, then dry them and then roast them? I have roasted groats that I didn't rinse and directly put them in a dry skillet for roasting. What do I do next? Rinse the roasted groats?

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 11, 2024, 10:49 a.m.

Hey Anjali, we handle buckwheat groats just like rice. Just rinse them and add directly to the pot—no need to dry them first. If you're using your own toasted groats, rinsing is optional. You can add them straight to the pot as they are. Enjoy!

Chete Cortes - March 26, 2024, 9:01 p.m.

Nice! I used lentils and dried mint instead of fresh. Added fresh coriander too.

Christopher - March 24, 2024, 6:06 p.m.

The perfect dish for when I‘m hungry in a warmer climate the mint and lemon make it feel less heavy while being very saturating :)

Maria Dana - March 20, 2024, 9:09 p.m.

Very tastefull!!! Thank you!

Jhanvi - Feb. 26, 2024, 4:08 p.m.

This is truly such a delicious recipe and I was pleasantly surprised by it! Also, yes, the portion of bouillon cube required makes it a bit too salty. Otherwise the flavours are there and it is really creamy and lecker! 😉

PUL small logo PUL Team - Feb. 27, 2024, 9:39 p.m.

Hey Jhanvi, thanks for sharing your experience with the recipe. We've heard a few reviews about the salt so we've reduced the bouillion to help balance the recipe 😊

Merve Pehlivan - Jan. 11, 2024, 6:24 p.m.

This recipe changed my husband's idea about buckwheat. He liked it very much. It is delicious and easy to make. Thanks for the recipe. ☺️

Yayy we're so happy to hear that the pilaf was enjoyed, Merve, thank you 🫶✨

Swati Vetri Kumar - Dec. 14, 2023, 3:35 a.m.

Enjoyed it thoroughly.
I added some green chilies as I wanted it Lil spicy and balance the saltiness.
Will surely make it again!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 15, 2023, 2:04 a.m.

A lovely idea to add some chili for spice! Thanks, Swati ☺️

Lois - Dec. 3, 2023, 1:25 a.m.

This looks good but the calorie count is high for one serving. Ok to use lite coconut milk? Reduce buckwheat and increase veggies?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 4, 2023, 12:15 a.m.

Hey Lois, the pilaf will be less creamy but you could use light coconut milk. You could also decrease the buckwheat and increase the veggies if you'd like. As a heads up, most of our main meals hover at around 500 kcal/sercing (plus or minus), so you're always welcome to adjust the serving size if you feel that might be too much for you 🤗

Milka - Oct. 7, 2023, 6:10 p.m.

Интересный вкус, спасибо!

Christel van Dijk - Sept. 27, 2023, 8:57 p.m.

I really liked this, but found it to be a bit too salty. Maybe because of the bouillon cubes I used. Next time i’ll add less of that and a little more coconut milk:)

Ana - Sept. 25, 2023, 2:16 p.m.

I loved this! I used bulgur instead of buckwheat (because it’s cheaper) and it was my favorite recipe here so far :)

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 25, 2023, 10:58 p.m.

Thank you for the idea, Ana, we're so happy that the pilaf was enjoyed 🤗

Hannah Nüßlein - Sept. 11, 2023, 2:32 p.m.

Very Yummy! Might add some vegan Quark alternative or something fresh an creamy on top 🥰

Lisa - Sept. 5, 2023, 7:11 p.m.

Really good!
