Main

This frittata has a rich and delicious taste that's inspired by the Mediterranean flavours. For making this frittata we used chickpea flavour, with sweet tomatoes, salty olives, fresh basil, and a little bit of vegan feta, which added some creaminess. The dish is perfect for a hearty breakfast or quick lunch.

Absolutely delicious!

Martunia - Jan. 14, 2025, 8:56 p.m.

So so good!

Marguerite De Valois - Nov. 17, 2024, 6:24 p.m.

Excellent.

Athina - Oct. 8, 2024, 2:37 p.m.

Loved it! Will definitely make this again 🙂

Nicole Mostofa - June 5, 2024, 11:11 p.m.

My first flip went well. But then it stuck to the pan, even with our Paderno non-stick that is still in really good condition. Maybe could have added more oil before the flip. It was more like a mediterranean scramble and it was really tasty! 🍳

Alejandra - May 23, 2024, 12:24 a.m.

I just made this and it turned out delicious, I love frittatas and this one was *chef’s kiss*

Mai - May 5, 2024, 7:34 a.m.

So tasty! My only issue is that I swapped chickpea flour for almond flour as I couldn't find it in my local supermarket, and the frittata completely fell apart. I will buy chickpea flour online and try it again!

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 6, 2024, 11:39 p.m.

Hey Mai, thanks for sharing your experience with the frittata. Chickpea and almond flour are indeed pretty different. We hope you enjoy the recipes texture more if you try with chickpea flour 😃

Stéphanie Le Jamtel - April 26, 2024, 9:20 p.m.

Delicious ! 🫠
I made tofu feta instead of using store bought, which makes it cheaper & adds extra legumes 💪
☝️ & I second Shanis’ comment - if you double the recipe, make 2 frittatas ! The flipping went alright for me but cooking one portion at a time would be the solution otherwise, I’m just not sure if it would take half the cooking process compared to the 2 portion guideline ?

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 29, 2024, 8:05 a.m.

Tofu feta sounds like a delicious touch, Stéphanie! As for changing the portion size, this can be a bit tricky. It might take a bit longer than half the time for two portions, you can try to lift the frittata slightly with a spatula and have a peek to see how golden the bottom is. Hope this helps 🙂

Misaki Acuña - April 15, 2024, 10:47 a.m.

So good! So many different flavors in your mouth. Definitely a flavor bomb. If you cut the ingredients small enough it can be a great finger food for babies. My little one loves it. :)

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 15, 2024, 4:13 p.m.

Aww so happy to hear the frittata is being enjoyed, Misaki, especially by your little one 😊

Manuela Suciu - Feb. 3, 2024, 9:12 p.m.

Loved it 🥰 super tasty so I'm definitely going to make it again. If I'm being honest, anything Mediterranean related is delicious 😋

PUL small logo PUL Team - Feb. 4, 2024, 4:02 a.m.

Gotta love Mediterranean food 🙌 thanks, Manuela!

Mariebelle Leclerc-Hallé - Jan. 13, 2024, 10:12 p.m.

Do you think it would be possible to put it in the oven to make the cooking process easier?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Jan. 14, 2024, 5:11 a.m.

Hey Mariebelle! We've never baked it before so it's a little hard to say confidently. We heard a positive review from Lila who baked one of our other frittata recipes at 392°F (200°C) for 30 minutes though. Perhaps you could start at 375°F (190°C) and bake for around 20-25 minutes until set. The frittata being golden and cooked through can help guide when it's done. Be careful not to overcook it as the frittata may dry out more in the oven if you give it a try 🤗

ungehauer - Jan. 5, 2024, 12:07 p.m.

the flipping was a bit of a challenge ;) but it was definitely worth it! great recipe with lots of ways to personalize it by simply changing the vegetables.

Andrea - Oct. 27, 2023, 10:52 a.m.

Absolutely delicious! Tried this morning, huge success!

Tahnee - Oct. 22, 2023, 9:15 p.m.

Definitely one of my favourite recipes on the app !

PUL small logo PUL Team - Oct. 23, 2023, 12:31 a.m.

Aw we're so happy to hear, Tahnee, this is also one of our favourites!

Sophia - Oct. 20, 2023, 8:53 p.m.

A new favorite 😍

Abigail - Oct. 12, 2023, 3:56 p.m.

Very tasty! Ours did not survive the flip.

Moni - Sept. 27, 2023, 12:32 a.m.

Awesome! Very lovely - nice!

Louise Magnusson - Sept. 23, 2023, 7:31 p.m.

Really enjoy this savoury breakfast! And I am super proud that I managed to turn the frittata/tortilla in one piece at first attempt 😂
I am excited to vary the vegetables (love the Indian option below in the comments🤩)
It is a bit on the ‘too filling’ side with the default 1 serving, but it is so tasty and I did not need to use any topping

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 24, 2023, 2:52 a.m.

Oh we’re so thrilled that the frittata was enjoyed, Louise! Thank you for the lovely review ✨🫶

Suzan - Aug. 29, 2023, 12:26 p.m.

This is so delicious 🥰

Phillipa - Aug. 11, 2023, 11:45 a.m.

This was delicious!
I didn't have any vegan feta in so I just made it without. I had some leftover tomato salsa and cucumber raita which tasted really good alongside it.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Aug. 11, 2023, 3:25 p.m.

Mmm salsa and raita are a lovely idea! Thank you, Phillipa ☺️

Jasmine - Oct. 20, 2023, 8:55 p.m.

Thanks for the raita and salsa idea!

Annie - Aug. 6, 2023, 4:53 p.m.

A great way to pack in the veggies! I added artichoke hearts and chickpeas. I needed to double the flour mixture since there were so many veggies after my additions… I probably should have cooked it in two parts instead of one thicker layer. It stuck a bit as well, but still tasted great! Looking forward to making it again 😁

Silvia Triches - July 30, 2023, 9:34 p.m.

I really enjoyed this recipe, highly customisable with whatever vegetables you have around (I had no mushrooms and sub with zucchini). Next time I will add some chili flakes for a spicy kick.
This app is amazing!

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 31, 2023, 4:21 p.m.

It means so much that the app is being enjoyed, Silvia! Happy cooking and nourishing 😃

Yvonne - July 27, 2023, 7:35 p.m.

This was great and an easy and quick dinner for us! I haven’t used Kala Namak before and was pleasantly surprised by the eggy smell and taste.

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 28, 2023, 4:56 a.m.

So happy it was enjoyed, Yvonne, thank you 😃

Djuli - July 21, 2023, 12:13 p.m.

My pans are not as nonstick as I thought they were, so this turned out more like a tofu scramble for me. Still tasted great though! Will definitely try again with a better pan 😁

Shanis - July 16, 2023, 8:21 p.m.

Really good! Only thing..if you double the quantities.. cook half mix at the time or it will become too thick and not cook properly… I’ve learned hehe

Pariss - July 13, 2023, 3:11 p.m.

Love the versatility of this recipe. I’ve made an Indian inspired version with peas, courgette, mushrooms and curry spices served with a mint yogurt.

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 14, 2023, 10:30 p.m.

Mmm sounds delicious, Pariss, we'll be sure to give Indian inspired spices a try 😃

Terry Jutila - July 10, 2023, 6:55 p.m.

I can’t eat mushrooms and don’t like olives but I still make this and add a few extra cherry tomatoes and it is so yummy.

We loved it, tastes way better than an egg omelette. Perfect summer dish!

Elizabeth Paroni - July 5, 2023, 10:17 p.m.

Just made this for the first time and it is fantastic.
