Has anyone tried putting it in the oven instead of frying? Could it be an alternative option?

Hey SB, we haven't personally tried baking them, so we can't guarantee it will work! You may need to adjust the cooking time and temperature to get them crispy, perhaps around 400°F (200°C) for 20 - 25 minutes, spraying them with cooking oil, and flipping halfway through.
