This appetizer features deliciously crunchy celeriac with a unique, slightly sweet flavour. We've coated it in a savoury spice blend and fried it to golden perfection. Versatile as both an appetizer or side dish, you can cut the celeriac into any shape you prefer, though we find triangles particularly appealing.

that was delicious, but they need to be eaten right away.

Hello! I love Celeriac, just wondering if I can make it in the oven instead and what temperature and time would you recommend cause I am a bit too impatient to check up on it on the stove 🙈

Hello Ashwini, you could bake the celeriac for a hands-off option - though it'll be less crispy! You could try baking it at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until it’s golden. It's best to adjust the time and temperature based on your oven 🤗

I baked the celeriac in the oven to save some time and have less work and it turned out awesome - I can really recommend it, it tasted great and was just so easy 🤤

Hello Pick Up Limes! This looks delicious! I was wondering about trying the recipe with jicama instead of celeriac. Do you think that would work? Thank you!

Hi there, Abby! Jicama could be an interesting twist. It’s a bit crisper and sweeter than celeriac, so it may not soften as much during cooking, but it should still taste great. Let us know how it turns out if you give the recipe a try 😊

That makes sense! Thank you Pick Up Limes!

Cool! In Utrecht at Karma Kebab they make kebab out of celeriac. It is great.
