The recipe was easy to follow and the meal cozy and perfect for cold days. I modify my recipe because I can't handle spicy food and did not put chili. Maybe because of this missing ingredient the final meal was bit bland. Is there any alternative I can add next time to get more flavour? :)

Glad you enjoyed the cozy vibes, Anna! If you'd like more flavour without the chili, you can try adding a bit more ginger or some extra dried fenugreek leaves - they add a nice depth without the heat 😊 A squeeze of fresh lemon at the end could also brighten things up!

Delicious recipe. The prep took me much more than 15 minutes though, just step 0 and 1 took me 30 minutes and I'm a relatively experienced homecook. Maybe step 0 is not counted in the time? I always feel like that is cheating though, because nobody has "one carrot, diced" lying around the house haha. My tofu was still frozen though, maybe that made the difference, or I didn't have my day.

We added roasted cauliflower to up the veggies a bit, just Spice with some baharat seasoning.

I had to skip the Fenugreek, because I couldn't find it at my grocery store, but this was still really good. I made it a 1-pot meal by cooking the tofu in my Dutch oven, and chopped the veg while that cooked. Then continued as the recipe says. A hit of lemon at the end is a must. Looking forward to trying this again once I have Fenugreek.

I was just wondering if the size of the tofu is right πŸ€” The recipe says 1 cm cubes, but on the pictures it looks more like 1 inch πŸ€” Was delicious either way 😍

Hey Lisa! We personally like it when the cubes are on the smaller side for the crunch, perhaps a tad closer to 1.5 cm but we rounded down for simplicity. A larger size is fine too though 😊
