Easy to make, incredibly tasty, healthy - I’m loving it! It has a surprisingly sweet taste even though there is no real sugar in it, but maybe that’s just my brain trying to process the coconut flavor

Our 5 kids love fried rice. But this one is by far our favorite. We loved the coconut twist. It’s also very filling, easy/quick to make, and balanced nutritionally. We added an extra bag of frozen peas for added protein and slightly less soy sauce because we ran out. Still turned out wonderful! We are going to make again this week!

Tasty and easy recipe for a weeknight. I added some tofu to the mix to boost the protein. Unfortunately my toddler didn't love this one - I think the texture of the vegetables was too much.

THIS WAS FREAKING GOOD!! My whole family loved it I had original soy sauce and ran out and could only do the 1/4 cup and DAMN that was the right amount anyways. Even my own picky brother and mother loved it! Ty ty ty for the easy steps and pictures it helped a lot. Everything about the app and the steps the amount was great!

My partner and I have decided this week to try out a bunch of new PUL recipes and this was one of them. While we're always struck by how good every recipe turns out to be, with this one something seems to have gone wrong and the rice has become incredibly sticky, to the point that it wasn't possible to fry it at all. I used Basmati and followed the cooking instructions on the package. Any tips on how to ensure it doesn't become a soft mush? I'd love to give it another go seeing all the great reviews and your pictures. 🙂

Hey Martina, aw how cool to hear about trying a bunch of our recipes! To help avoid mushiness, we'd recommend rinsing the rice well before cooking to remove excess starch. Too much starch can promote an undesirable texture. It can also become mushy when it's stirred too much (try to minimise stirring as much as possible) or when too much water is used. In that case, let the rice sit uncovered for a few minutes after cooking to allow excess steam to escape and prevent it from becoming overly sticky 🤗

Whoa are you kidding? This is so easy and delicious, I’m never buying fried rice again. I used jasmine rice and full sodium soy sauce (in smaller amounts) but otherwise followed the recipe as written. Next time, I will likely add some seasoned tofu for a little extra protein and a little cilantro on top.

Made rice the night before, used pre-shredded carrots and cabbage in place of the peppers & omitted the peas. Doubled the recipe and struggled to keep it in the 12” pan but it came together in minutes & my family enjoyed it a lot. In the end I added as much cold rice as I could fit in the pan on top of the veggies & poured the sauce over. The proportions must have been just right because no one asked for any extra seasonings! The creamy toasted cashews really made it special.

Delicious. I’ve made several recipes from this app now and I have to say that everything I’ve made is so delicious and flavorful. This recipe is no exception. I didn’t have coconut but it still came out so good, good moisture consistency too. So flavorful and full of good veggies. I am also absolutely loving the “make” feature! For me (not a cook at all) it’s been extremely helpful! And the grocery list too. All I need is my phone for making a delicious meal start to finish. Super easy too!
