It was excellent!
At first, as I did not have mushrooms my onions and garlic burnt, so I re-cut new ones and let them cook way less long and with a less intense fire, and then followed the recipe normally, and it was delicious! I will definitely be making it again in the future, and hopefully this time I can get mushrooms too!

I need some ingredient clarification from the PUL team:

1. 'miso paste' - do you mean white miso paste, or another kind?

2. 'peanut butter' - natural or sweetened?

Hey Coco, we tend to use white (also called shiro) miso paste most often but red miso will work perfectly fine too (just a heads up that red can be a bit more salty in taste). For peanut butter, we always use one made from 100% peanuts, no added sugars 😊

Hi Rose, we're so glad that you enjoyed it! Our usual technique is to use a mandoline to thinly slice the carrots, then stack those strips and cut them into the matchsticks. If it's available, buying the pre-cut julienned carrots can also help speed up this recipe 😉

Hey Raphaëlle! We use the orange juice for 1) liquid, 2) flavour, and 3) a touch of sweetness. We imagine you could substitute the orange juice with pineapple juice, or consider swapping for a mix of the following three 1) water as needed for liquid 2) a touch of lime juice for flavour though not much as it might overwhelm the dish, and 3) a touch of maple or agave syrup to add the sweetness. I hope you enjoy it if you give it a try! 😊

Tastes amazing! Any advice how I can keep the tofu crispy when storing in the fridge for meal prep? I felt like it lost its special texture after storing it for a day

Hi Juna, letting it cool completely before storing it can help. Also, when reheating, you could give it a quick pan-fry or use an air fryer or oven instead of a microwave to help to re-crisp. We hope this helps for now 🤗

This was really tasty. I made it according to the recipe with the exception of using only half the sriracha for fear it would be too spicy, but it wasn’t spicy, so I think the full amount would have been fine. Once the thinned sauce has been mixed with the noodles and vegetables, is there a good way to thin it again? It gets a little bit pasty when it sits. Maybe just some water?

I didn’t make the full recipe as I didn’t have all the ingredients so I just made the tofu to go with other things I had in a salad bowl and used the sauce over the top. It was easy to make and delicious. Really good to find a flavourful tofu recipe without cornflour and not much oil. Definitely recommend

Defo ticks the boxes as a rainbow meal! Love all the colours and variety of nutrient they imply. The texture and flavour of the marinated baked tofu is super satisfying. Takes a little while to prepare so not in my regular rota of PUL meals, but one I’ve rolled out when entertaining.
