Hey there, C. Aimée, thanks for the question 😊 we recommend freshly roasting the seeds as it helps them blend easier and enhances the flavour.
You could use pre-roasted seeds if that's more accessible, but it will make for a slightly chunkier sunflower seed butter. We'd recommend heating the seeds up a tad in the oven before blending or adding a neural oil to help them blend smoother.
