While white chocolate and coffee are already a delicious combination on their own, in our rendition it gets elevated with the addition of cashew butter and maple syrup. Together, they add depth, richness, and a silky texture that will keep you coming back for more!

Ingredients

Blonde Mocha

  • 1.4 oz (40 g)
    vegan white chocolate, chopped
  • 1½ cups (360 mL)
    barista oat milk
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL)
  • ½ Tbsp (7 mL)
  • ⅔ cup (160 mL)
    brewed espresso

Optional toppings

  • ground cinnamon
  • vegan whipped cream

Make your own

Directions

  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, combine all the blonde mocha ingredients (except for the espresso). Cook until steamy and homogeneous, about 3 minutes.
  2. Divide into mugs, optionally passing the mixture through a fine sieve.
  3. Top off with the espresso.
  4. Add whipped cream and cinnamon if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Nutrition tip: aim to use plant-based milk that is fortified with calcium.

Storage

  • Best enjoyed immediately.

Très bon très gourmand. A conseiller entre copines. La chantilly est vraiment un must par dessus. Le beurre de noix de cajou et le soir d'érable ne sont pas nécessaires à mon goût

Very delicious! I think next time, I'll leave out the maple syrup because it was very sweet for my taste. I added a bit more espresso to tone it back a bit, but for ppl who like sweeter coffee drinks, it's perfect as is 😊

Looks awesome. No vegan white chocolate but would I be able to macgyver some with cocoa butter and sweetener?

Hey Inks! We haven't tried it ourselves but we imagine you could melt cocoa butter, sweeten it with powdered sugar or maple syrup, and maybe add a splash of vanilla for flavour. It won't be exactly like white chocolate, but it might work. Just be sure to give the mocha a sip and adjust it to taste. Let us know how it goes if you try it out! 🤗
