Does the nutrition change if you use a blender instead of a juicer? I've used a ninja blender to make it and added water to get a thinner consistency afterwards. Love the flavor of this one.

Hey Amanda, it's a lovely question! Using a blender keeps all the fibre from the ingredients, which can boost the nutritional value compared to juicing. Just remember to add some liquid to a powerful blender to get a smooth consistency. Water is a great option - and juice or even plant-based milk if you like a smoothie taste could work great too. So happy to hear you're loving the flavour! πŸ€—

Hey there, Daniela, how exciting to hear about your milestone birthday! Thank you for trusting PUL as a source for content as well 😊

While detox and juicing are popular ways to kickstart a journey, we approach them with caution since they can be harmful and hard to stick with in the long run. Instead, we encourage making sustainable changes that focus on balance, variety, and satisfying food choices for long-term health. Our iOS mobile app has lots of recipes and meal-planning features if you're interested and haven't already seen it. Working with a healthcare professional such as a dietitian can also be helpful for personalized and ongoing support. We hope this helps for now, and that you continue to enjoy our content πŸ’›

Thanks for your response, it truly means a lot. I'm one of the many that is waiting for the android version of your app.
As far as becoming a plant base eater is a goal of mine. I currently don't eat meat but I still have to make adjustments. I just haven't been able to get back to my normal weight after my second baby, 2yrs ago . I have seen all of your videos with exception of some of the blogs. Would you guide me on what videos would be best for a good start. Again, thanks so much for your time.
Daniela

Stephanie - July 25, 2023, 5:47 p.m.

Hi Sadia! My name is Stephanie, and I just wanted to quickly tell you that I've been following pick up limes since 2019, and it has personally helped me transform my relationship with food in the best way possible. I'm now an aspiring nurse, and I personally geek out on all the articles here that focus on the mind and gut connection, and draw emphasis on how to eat to improve our health in every aspect. I appreciate you so much!

To my main question, I'm new to the juicing world. There are many juicer appliances out there, it's hard to know which to go for. Any recommendations on which juicer to select?

Hey Stephanie, oh you're the best πŸ₯Ή thanks for being part of our community for so long. How exciting to hear about your nursing journey too! As for juicers, centrifugal juicers are typically more affordable compared to cold-press juicers so you pick which types based on your budget.

Tyara - Sept. 4, 2022, 4:27 a.m.

What is a good substitute for grapefruit? It is not a common fruit in my country. Thanks !

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 5, 2022, 3:27 a.m.

Hey Tyara, an alternative citrus fruit such as oranges will work 😊
