Surprisingly tasty! Healthy and I don't really taste the beets. I drank it as a smoothie
I’m eating mine now and it’s so delicious! I used almond butter instead. Perfect combination; definitely recommended.
Soooo good!
Peanut butter and ginger is indeed a good pairing. 🥜🍊🍌🥛🥥
Strange but amazing smoothie!! I love it! I would never thought spinach, peanut butter, and ginger would be a good combination. I also appreciate that you use oranges instead of orange juice since I hate buying orange juice. Eagerly awaiting more smoothie recipes with raspberries (and blackberries?) :) Your smoothies have been essential to breaking my coffee addiction during my pregnancy so thank you! …although I am sure my neighbor hates the high speed blender buzzing early in the morning.
Made this on the fly before shopping as trying the app out.usedgolden beetroot and blueberries as it's what I had. Green smoothie but still yum.
Made this as a grab and go smoothie this morning. Bumped the liquid to 3/4cup almond milk and it was perfect 👍🏻
This was excellent! I topped with more frozen raspberries, granola and cacao nibs. I only had those cooked “Love Beets” and it worked great! I’ll definitely make this again. Trouble is I scarfed it down in under 10 minutes haha
Beets are one of the few vegetables I don’t like but I included it anyway. I’m so glad I did. I could hardly taste the beet. I mostly tasted the ginger and raspberries, but it was such a good, creamy smoothie. My favorite one so far. Not too sweet but with a satisfying spicy kick from the ginger.
I love this so much. Thank you for you recipe.
Oh my goodness this is such a tasty smoothie!!
Lovely smoothie! The ginger gives it a great kick, good start of my veganuary :)
A delicious and healthy smoothie, loved it!
Putting oranges in smoothies ist in my opinion not a good idea. But I wanted to try it out though. Even after mixing for quite long there are still peaces of the orange skin in the smoothie and fibres of the spinach, too. I personally don't like that, but possibly there are people who do?
Possibly my favorite PUL smoothie recipe! I was skeptical of the combination of ingredients (and personally choose to skip the beets), but it is so incredibly flavorful, delicious, and satisfying.
Marvellous smoothie: creamy, fresh, and a spicy kick in the morning! It’s really nice to have a little bit of ginger and tart raspberry breaking through the sweetness. The beet root is definitely only for colour😅. I used a smooth cashew butter instead of peanut butter, as the former doesn’t have a too characteristic flavour. Conclusively, I like it very much and it’s nice to eat together with PUL double chocolate granola. However, I can imagine that your almond and coconut granola might be even better👌🏻
Thank you so much for this recipe, it´s so good!
It’s one of my favorite smoothies now! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
PUL recipes make me happy. This Immune Booster Smoothie is no exception. It's so yummy, and that's after making a couple of substitutions because of what I had on hand. I didn't have a beet or raspberries so I added an extra orange to use it up (it was getting close to being gifted to birds) and used frozen strawberries. When I make this smoothie again and follow the recipe exactly I'm sure it will be beyond delicious. Another winning recipe!
By the way, the Carrot Cake Overnight Oats recipe in PUL's Ecookbook is pure perfection. When I first opened the Ecookbook near the end of the day I planned on quickly browsing it, flagging a few recipes to try next, and giving it proper attention the next day. I stopped flagging recipes after I noticed I was flagging nearly every recipe. Carrot Cake Overnight Oats was the first recipe from the Ecookbook I tried. For that recipe alone I'd buy the Ecookbook many times over. It's so good!
Easy, healthy and delicious! My family aren’t the biggest smoothie people but they loved this so will definitely be making again… and again.. and again!
I literally make this smoothie every morning for breakfast, it is so delicious and versatile.
It is equally as good a smoothie or topped with granola, often leaving out the nut butter when adding granola to make it a smoothie bowl.
I have found that you can sub the orange for other fruits such as mango, pineapple or apple depending on what you have on hand and it turns out great.
Really great recipe <3
The PUL smoothies are the most creative, balanced and tasty smoothies ever and this one is no exception! The peanut butter and ginger combo is devine!
Absolutely love this unique smoothie bowl recipe, made it twice this week! I like making my own smoothie bowls at home, I would have never thought to use raw beets and was pleasantly surprised. :)
Is the beet in this recipe supposed to be raw? I see a comment that someone used a baked beet but that wasn't clear from the recipe so intrigued to know what was used above and does raw beet not taste hard and weird?
Separately, I have a completely tangential question (not related to a particular recipe) and possibly a suggestion that can enhance the site further - what's the best way to get in touch with Sadia re: those? Is there a direct email I can use?
The only things I changed are adding one banana instead of two and using a baked beet. And it was superb! I love your recipes and cook with them regularly. Thank you for such a delicious recipe! I send a biiiig hug from Poland! <3
I am pretty new to smoothies and I didn't know how to make them taste good, I thought they werde watery and kind a bland, so I was really excited to try a new recipe! It was super delicious and all your tips were so helpful! It was so creamy and I liked the earthy flavour:)) I'm looking forward to try all your other smoothies recipes (and not only them :) !
I just love your work and especially your new website!
Lots of love from Austria!
