Nice flavor. I added nuts as a garnish instead of granola. How long would you need to cook this with steel cut oats?
Yummy! I personally like my oatmeal a bit softer so next time I’ll try soaking the oats for a while before cooking. But I’m definitely cooking this one again!
Super petit déjeuner. Doux , joli, réconfortant et chaud pour les matinées d'hiver. Je n'ai pas rajouté de sucre ni de vanille et c'est très bien comme ça
One of my favourite oatmeal recipes that I turn to time and time again.
Looks so delicious, don't know what to try 🤔❤️❤️😍😍
Easy and delicious! great for meal prepping
Can’t believe such a simple reverie tastes this good!
I never thought oatmeal could taste this couture! This recipe is on constant rotation - eaten warm in the winter and cold from the fridge in the summer.
This was delicious! Didn’t have almonds so used walnuts and still delicious. This will be a staple in the house.
I used frozen mixed berries (all I had on hand) and it’s awesome! Excited to try with blueberries next time.
this has been one of my favourite oatmeal recipes for years :)
Delicious breakfast. Will absolutely make again.
Easy and delicious
I made this Oatmeal recipe this morning. It was super easy and delicious. The almond extract added a kick flavor to the taste😋. My boyfriend loved it as well. I will definitely be making this again❣️
Wow. This is soooo good! ❤️
I love how hearty these porridge recipes are, perfect for winter months. I'm also so impressed with how much sweetness the cooked down banana brings. Delicious
Oh wow! My tastebuds are jumping with joy! As someone who enjoys porridge for breakfast, this recipe blew me away.
It is just delicious and it's made so quickly.
My go to breakfast this winter, you made me enjoy oatmeal!!
So quick and delicious. This has become a morning staple at our house.
Now a regular brekkie
love it
I’m allergic to bananas, do you think a date could be added instead?
Great and easy recipe for the morning! Nice flavor!
Hi, the nutrition info, refer to the full recipe including toppings etc or just to the recipe of oatmeal itself?
Thanks in advance,
Evi
This is the best thing about morning. 😃
Underrated recipe! I added some more vanilla extract & maple sirup and a little bit of cinnamon. Then I topped the oatmeal with some selfmade chocolate yogurt (simply some plant yogurt mixed with cocoa powder and maple sirup), peanut butter, banana slices, nuts and chia seeds. Love it!
Loved it!! I'm a huge blueberry and almond fan 🤩 unfortunately I didn't have a coconut yogurt but the soya one, next time I'll try with coconut!!
Loved this recipe! I made just one serving to try it. I will say be careful with that almond extract! A little goes a long way! ☺️
Is the maple syrup replaceable with honey?
Is the almond butter replaceable with peanut butter?
This is such a tasty, easy breakfast for the morning rush!
This is my new favourite breakfast!
Will become a staple!
Wouldn’t steel cut oatmeal be healthier?
I really like this breakfast. It so easy and fast to make and the sweetness is just right
Very good & filling. Easy to make!
The message to say it should be stored without the toppings would be better if was said prior to finishing the recipe. Other than that - delicious recipe and easy to make! Thank you
Totally delicious - a perfect start to a rainy Saturday morning in July!! 🤣🤣
Sooo yummy! Don’t skip the optional ingredients, the almond extract and cinnamon are so good in this! Oh and I only made one portion for two people. Was already more than enough for us.
So delicious, easy and fullfilling!
I make this most mornings, because it’s so delicious and a great way to start your day.
Usually I‘m not a fan of sweet breakfast dishes and I never really fancied oatmeal. Your recipes are so good. I think I‘m going to have oatmeals more often now.
Yummy! Another fav for breakfast 🤗
Delicious!!!!!!! Didn’t have frozen blueberries so used fresh and smashed them as they were cooking to get that beautiful blue/purple color and flavor. This was so good!!!!!
your recipes are great
only one way to describe this oatmeal: delicious
I liked this a lot, I definitely recommend getting some sliced almonds for crunchiness, otherwise all of it is soft and mushy.
Delicious
Going to be one of my favorites. Love blueberries
Have made this many many times and it’s always delicious. One of my family’s favourites.
Easy and delicious. Topped with some strawberries for colour and so yummy x
This blueberry oatmeal is a great way to start your day!
Instead of using almond extract, I added 1/4 tsp of coconut extract. Also, I thought my batch was sweet enough with the frozen blueberries and banana, so I didn’t add the agave syrup.
So delicious to start my day with. I used Oatmilk since that was all I had, but I added the almond extract and that definitely elevated it!
The combination of almond butter, blueberries 🫐 and oats turned out well. It feels like eating a blueberry 🫐 cookie with almond butter. The concept is good.
Since I am a high school student so your simple and wholesome recipes help me.
Thanks.
The combination of almond butter, blueberries 🫐 and oats turned out well.
It feels like eating a blueberry 🫐 cookie with almond butter.
The concept is good and wholesome.
Thanks for the recipe.
It was amazing! Thank you very much for this recipe :)
The amazingly beautiful colour from the blueberries, the sweetens of the banana, the comforting aroma of the almonds … should I say more?
This is one of the best oatmeal recipes ever 😍
I really like this recepy, I Made it multiple times. It’s my favorite oat recepy
Really flavorful! This is officially one of my favorite oatmeal recipes- and I've tried A LOT. The banana really elevates the texture and flavor- 5/5 stars for me!
Super tasty and filling! I love Sadia's oatmeal recipes for how filling (but not over-stuffing) they are, and this one is one of my faves! I've played around with the spices a little, depending on what I have in my spice rack (cardamom, which I love with blueberry or fresh ginger), but the recipe is also amazing as is and I love the gorgeous fuchsia color! I also love how the banana coins melt into the oatmeal as it cooks:) Whenever I have super busy mornings and I may be having a later-than-usual lunch, this recipe keeps me full all morning and it also comes together pretty quickly.
Each recipe is marvellous, sometimes I'm just coming here for inspiration and wow, I'm never disappoint. Thanks for your creative and alternative recipe ☀️
I have to be honest with you, I love this website, I swaped the nuts out because I did not have almonds and it was incredible!
I am a college student, so I love simple recipes like this, keep up the good work.
Quick and so filling ! Thank you !
It so yummy. I like it🤤
My daughter (4yo) and I had this for breakfast today and it was DELICIOUS! She loved the colorful oats and we both loved the flavor. We used coconut milk instead of almond milk but still was really good.
I have made it many times, even with variations, and it is my absolute favourite way to have porridge.
Just made this and it’s delicious!! A new snack staple for sure! The ratios calculated were perfect (:
This was great!!
I never liked oatmeal. It changed with this recipe :) Now it's my go to breakfast. Even cooked on sunday evening to eat on monday, tuesday and wednesday morning, warmed up in the microwave, it's delicious. Doesn't even need topings on my part! Thanks for the discovery.
Loved it
This is my go to everytime! Just can’t get enough. A
Such a classic combination of flavors - it's so delicious. Would highly recommend!
Love how you make sure a meal like oatmeal has lots of protein. Thanks :)
I loved everything about this meal. Every bite was an experience on its own. I can't wait to try your other recipes, they all look so tasty!
Ps. Big fan of your YouTubes videos. eager to watch your upcoming ones, but in the meantime I'm binge watching your previous ones hehe. 🍋💛
I have to say, when I saw this recipe I thought it might be fine, or just plain, but it was actually so delicious! I didn't even have almond milk ( I used oat milk) or the extract, but it still turned out so good! Definitely gonna become a regular, Thank you so much!!
I tried this recipe today, and with all the flavors and toppings with different textures, it was DELICIOUS even though I made it just with water!!! (run out of any kind of milk 😮💨) Definitely will make it again, this time with almond milk :)
Amazing recipe! Love how colorful it is. Tastes amazing.
Super creamy and delicious porridge! Tried it as overnight oats with the same ingredients and works as well. Love it!
Omgosh this is so good. I love your recipes and appreciate the format of your website. Beautiful, to the point and not junked up with ads. As for the oatmeal, mine came out a little greyish because I used frozen blueberries. Still delicious though! Adding the small amount of almond extract is inspired.
hey, PUL ! Can you tell me where did you buy your measuring cups ? I just love them !!😍
I just finished it, it was amazing! One of the most "baked goods-porridge" I've ever eaten! Thank you for all your amazing recipes, I keep coming back to them and it's always a success 🥰
This recipe is sooooo good! We are far away from old plain oatmeal! Will cook this over and over!
I really don't like bananas soooo I used strawberries lool I got purple Oatmeal but it was good and sweet. This was great because I was looking for a way to cut out sugar from my diet.
This is the third oatmeal I tried from this website, and I LOVED it.
I didn’t have the yogurt or the butter for toppings, but I topped it with chopped coconut and chia seeds.
I make oatmeal all the time, but this one stands out!! I think the addition of frozen fruit give is a special sweet boost without being overwhelming. Super delish 😋
Amazing and testy breakfast.
Really tasty! I love the color that the blueberries almost immediately infuse the oatmeal with as it's cooking. It's something I never would have thought to do before seeing this recipe. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
This was great! I made a batch and portioned it for meal prep. As a busy college student, this is great to heat up in the morning and go! The color was not as vibrant since I used regular blueberries instead of wild ones, but the taste is light and delicate compared to the mocha oatmeal recipe. I used a splash of agave instead of maple syrup since the bananas sweetened the oatmeal. Thanks a TON, this is very tasty!!!
Wonderful recipe! I think another commenter did this too, but I just leave out the syrup and the banana makes it plenty sweet. I had never thought to serve oatmeal with yogurt before but it was delicious. Thank you for your creative recipes!
This has been breakfast every morning for the past week. It warms me up and is so tasty. I also love how good it is for me. Wholesome and delicious.
First time using your new-ish website features (about time)! So easy to follow recipe and the oatmeal was DELICIOUS!
First time making this recipe and it was DELISH. I was honestly surprised how well all the ingredients heightened flavor without compromising on nutrition. Great start to my month of only cooking from your recipes. THANK YOU!
I’ve made this oatmeal a few times a week since you posted it! Perfect for the winter and with ingredients I pretty much always have on hand. Thank you for this new breakfast staple!
Wow! This is amazing oatmeal! I love the addition of the banana, blueberries and vanilla extract, it makes the flavour so much better! And the smells are so good 😄💕✨
This is the best oatmeal ever. It’s so easy to make and so delicious. I was out of maple syrup so I added a few extra blueberry & topped it up with banana coins and raisins and it tasted appropriately sweet. Thank you PUL :)
Wow! I have NEVER liked oatmeal in all my 45 years of life… until now. This recipe was unlike any oatmeal I have ever tasted. Excellent. I used walnuts on top as I was out of almonds. Also added only almond extract at the end. Delicious! Thank you for this recipe. I desperately need to add more plants and fiber to my diet for health reasons and breakfast was a real challenge. I will try the overnight oats next…
So yummy! Great with yogurt!
Delicious! My family and I really enjoyed this for breakfast this morning. :D Our toddler gobbled it right up.
Thank you Sada!! For this wonderfully, tasteful, filling recipe! It definitely gave my boring oatmeal a spin on taste and color! I’m employed at the hospital and during my 10pm-6am shift, I’ll have some already prepared in a mason jar and I’m energized throughout the night! Can you please add more oatmeal ideas.
Thank you 🙏
Jeanette 🙂
I loved the colour and how fruity this oatmeal was. There were so many delicious blueberries!! Plus the tasty yogurt and nut butter complimented it so well. Will definitely be making this again soon!
Oooooooh, now THIS is my new favourite oatmeal (for now). I was having your strawberry overnight oats for quite some time until I made this blue-blue blueberry oatmeal. Yummylicious! And the colour is so inviting. Thank you so much for creating delicious, affordable, and simple recipes. When I converted to a vegan 'lifestyle' I began with your recipes. Two years later and I continue to use your recipes (and I especially appreciate your website-- reader-friendly, ease of use without having to scroll through tons of pages to get to the actual recipe...luv luv luv). Cheers to you and family for 2022.
I tastes very good, but it is a bit to rich for me.
This is sooo good and so easy to make! It keeps me full for hours and my 18mo son loves picking off the toppings and eating them too. :)
I was dubious about the yogurt topping, but you were 100% right it’s amazing and to anyone reading this review you’ve got to try it. The taste combination is really what makes this dish.
This is so delicious! The combination of flavors and the right amount of sweetness is the perfect way to start my day. I love the flavor combination of blueberries with almond butter it's divine 😍. This really reminded me of a blueberry muffin.
Loved the mix of textures and tastes. Never thought yogurt on oatmeal would be so delicious! Thank you for such a great recipe!
Marvellous oatmeal: a warm filling hug packed with flavour😋 I agree completely with your comment in the video to use wild blueberries, it’s amazing (lucky to have Nordic bilberries that’s nutritious and more dense in colour🤩). Vanilla and blueberries are an interesting flavour combination. I loved this oatmeal with more banana and bilberries, cinnamon, chopped pecans, and Greek yoghurt for topping. I was a bit afraid that banana and maple syrup would be too sweet, but it worked very well👏🏼 The only disadvantage with these new oatmeal recipes is ground flaxseeds or chia seeds. It’s not necessary, as the porridge will thicken perfectly well on its own. That’s the whole purpose to have warm oatmeal. I’ve tried one of the oatmeals with chia seeds and it turned into a lump. Naturally, I had to add a lot more beverage to loosen 🤯. To summarise, it was a lovely breakfast!!
I am always up for new oatmeal recipes. So when I saw this recipe, I had to give it a try. It was delicious! It was perfectly sweet and had amazing flavor. Plus, my kitchen smelled incredible. I used oat milk instead of almond since that is what I had on hand. I got through three-quarters of the dish before I was full. I couldn’t finish it. Thank you for the recipe.
Made this the same day I saw the recipe come online and my husband and I absolutely loved it! I normally do not care for oatmeal, but am always giving it a try. This recipe is going to be how I do it from now on. Plus, the color is so beautiful, it makes you excited to eat it :D
PS thank you for always including measurement by weight. I just sat my pot on my scale, poured in all the ingredients, and didn’t have to dirty a single measuring tool.
This one looks absolutely delicious! Everything with blueberries in drives me crazy! Thank you for sharing
