Tomato & 'Sausage' Pasta

In my country, we don't have "beyond meat" sausages, but I found something similar, ready-made, ground soy. The dish turned out delicious!

It tasted okay, really creamy, but the flavors were just not it for me I guess. I didn't use the recommended brand for the sausages though, maybe it would have tasted better if I did.

I made this recipe in the instant pot. Added a can of diced tomatoes and some extra water. Turned out great🤗

This turned out really great! Always a fan of an easy recipe I can throw together with ingredients I already have. Although once I started I realised I didn’t have pasta (😂) so I subbed with spaghetti and added some peas and spinach for greenery 🌿 chefs kiss! Thanks for another lovely recipe x

Hi! I'd appreciate having an approximate weight of the sausages or range of weight needed for best balance in the meal.
I get that you have products to place but as another person said : if they are either too expensive, not available or have to be replaced with another brand or type of beyond product because it's what's on hand it's most helpful. thanks

Hi there, Nora! Thanks so much for your note 😊 Each sausage is about 100 grams uncooked, so 400 grams total works well. Of course, any similar sausage works just as nicely. Just to reassure you, we don’t include products in recipes for promotional reasons, we only mention Beyond Meat here because it’s what we used when testing.💛 hope you love the pasta!

Lovely recipe, pretty easy too. Secretly I love the cabbage pasta recipe with Beyond sausages on this app even more, but that is no reason to give this recipe less stars.

I love this recipe! I've made it twice before and found it very easy, quick and tasty. Now I've prepared it on a sailing trip but unfortunately we lacked a few ingredients, so I improvised using kidney beans instead of the sausages and a few more herbs instead of some other ingredients we were lacking. It was a great success and I want to make it again soon, hopefully closer to the original recipe this time!

Really yummy, but shouldn't be tagged as budget friendly. Beyond Meat sausages are really expensive and I could only afford to make a portion and a half with the two sausages I had been able to buy. Still, 5 stars for the flavor
