So satisfying! I have made these several times now, and they absolutely do the job

Gesa von Hirschheydt - Dec. 5, 2024, 6:24 p.m.

I love this snack! It also serves as a wonderful gift for spice-loving friends 😄

Joanne - Dec. 4, 2024, 5:18 p.m.

These were excellent. My only complaint is that they are so deliciously moreish that I can’t stop picking at them!

Al - Aug. 21, 2024, 2:10 p.m.

They burned a little. I think 150°C with convection would have turned out better

Al - Aug. 21, 2024, 2:13 p.m.

PS I baked them at 180°C for 2x7 minutes as per the instructions

Hey Al, we use conventional heat, so the symbol on our oven shows the top and bottom heating without the fan, with the pan in the middle rack of the oven. In case you use the option with a fan, also called convection bake, the baking time will indeed be less 🤗✨

My husband and I can’t get enough of these. They’re the perfect amount of spicy and savory!

Ashleigh Davies - June 28, 2024, 1:04 p.m.

Almost too good to resist absolutely love these!!

Delicious!!

Kirsten - Jan. 2, 2024, 6:23 p.m.

Totally in love with these!!! Made a huge batch for a party. I choose to make them extra spicy, since we have multiple friends who can handle it. But even if you dial that down, it is still amazing! I also made another mix from PUL. So I could go all out with the spice on this one 😋. Never made candied nuts before, super easy. Go try it!!!

Woohoo! We're smiling from ear to ear, Kirsten, thanks for welcoming the recipe in the festivities 🤗

Jessica - Dec. 20, 2023, 11:25 p.m.

Really delicious on their own or on top of a cabbage slaw! They do get a bit soft/sticky after a few days -but it’s not hard to eat them up in the first days!!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 21, 2023, 7:53 p.m.

Hey Jessica! Indeed the nuts get stickier and lose their bite the longer they are stored due to the gochujang coating. So glad they're still being enjoyed though 🤗

Stefanie Krüger - Dec. 9, 2023, 2 p.m.

I like the spicy twist on these!!!

Damilola Olowokure - Oct. 17, 2023, 4:31 p.m.

These were amazing, so flavourful and delicious 😋

Živilė - Sept. 9, 2023, 3:30 p.m.

As for other commenter - they have burnt for me as well after 17mins. And I’ve used maple syrup 😭😭

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 11, 2023, 2:44 a.m.

Oh no - our sincerest apologies, Živilė! We suspect it could be the oven settings used. We used a conventional setting for reference and have updated this in the direction of the recipe. A fan setting, for example, causes the nuts to cook much faster. We've noted down this feedback to help us enhance our recipe write-ups in the future, and we've also dropped the cooking time by a couple of minutes to ensure it doesn't burn for anyone else regardless. Thanks for helping us improve what we do Živilė 🤗

Hilal Kis - Aug. 11, 2023, 11:50 a.m.

sadly, mine burned after 17 min in the oven. i substituted maple syrup with date sirup. might that be the cause?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Aug. 11, 2023, 3:33 p.m.

Hey Hilal! Indeed date syrup tends to have more sugar and can caramelize faster than maple syrup. We'd recommend reducing the baking time or lowering the oven temperature slightly to prevent burning if you give the recipe another try 😊

Hilal Kis - Aug. 12, 2023, 1:03 a.m.

allright, makes sense, ill trz again with a much more small amount and give it a try :)

Milainy - Aug. 8, 2023, 2:40 a.m.
