Cig Kofte (Çiğ Köfte) is a traditional Turkish dish, that used to be made with meat, which has been replaced by bulgur through the years. It's popular street food, also often served as an appetizer. It requires a few ingredients but is perfect for preparing in advance. Combined in a wrap with arugula, vegan yogurt, and toppings, it makes a perfect meal. Sweet and spicy!

I bought some ingredients (bulgur, red pepper paste) specifically for this recipe 😋 It's good, but nothing special, in my opinion. Probably will make it again, though, to use up the bulgur and bell pepper paste🤪

Hey Martunia, aw we're sad to hear that the recipe wasn't a 5-star experience! In case it helps, you may enjoy using up the ingredients in some of our other recipes, such as our Turkish Lentil Kofta or Kisir - Turkish Bulgur Salad ☺️

I would recommend roasting the whole wrap in a pan in the end till it’s golden brown to make it taste even better but I really liked it!

Can these kofte’s be air fried or pan roasted for some crispness?

Hey Ruchi, we haven't tested it out but we image you could air fry them at a high temperature or pan-roast with a bit of oil until they reach your desired level of crispiness. Just be sure to adjust the cooking time based on your preferred method and texture. Let us know if you experiment with it! 😊
