This is a great meal. I did it in the pressure cooker it was great.
Happy to join this PUL app community. My first recipe to try, and wow, really good…tastes warm, nutritious, and satisfying. Thank you PUL.

For reference - I skipped the vegetable bouillon and used 1 jalapeno instead of 2 (4 serving recipe) and it still tasted great. Added the salt at the end, closer to 3/4-1 tsp, prob since I omitted the bouillon and used no-salt tomato can.
I added zucchini also and it was delicious! Really loved the flavour's of this lovely, warm and comforting stew.
Hmm, I prefer okra tomato stew / curry with the usual spices I put in a curry, like turmeric, cumin, coriander. The allspice variation was interesting but not a hit with me.
Okra is my favorite vegetable- but I never cared to add it w a tomato. Soo glad I got to try this recipe! Soo soo good! Ate it for lunch and dinner for 2 days 😅 will be making this on rotation for sure!
It was quite yummy, I used firm tofu instead of mock chicken pieces since I couldn't find any. Next time I'll probably skip the jalapenos, though. It was quite hot even though I put only one. 🥲
What a wonderfully hearty dish! Will definitely do this again
Hello, everyone. This tastes wonderful if you decide to skip the jalapeño. I needed to add a little bit of lemon for the okra to cook through all the way. A goodie, thank you 😊
Excellent way to use up my garden okra that I have been storing away for such a time as this! I swapped the “chicken,” with “ground mince” because it’s what we had and it was incredible!
Soooooo amazing
Very nice. I used courgette with a touch of corn starch instead of okra. And a regular green chili pepper instead of jalapeno.
The portion of rice was a bit large and could be reduced to 60g per portion.
Loved the recipe. I added yellow bell peppers instead of jalapeño. I also dint use any tomato paste, just diced tomatoes, and it tasted epic. I added extra water to the rice to make it softer and it went really well with the stew.
