This made for such a satisfying meal, and was so easy to put together, I would love to see more recipes of this ‘difficulty’ level. I can actually realistically see myself making this on a Friday evening after a gruelling work week!
It was so flavorful and filling 😍 I was actually a bit surprised by that 😂 Next time I'll go for a smaller portion.
Small changes that worked out:
- didn't have petas and used a toasted bun
- didn't have harissa paste, so I added harissa seasoning and a bit of gochujang paste

Super delicious and quickly assembled. The heat of the harissa was intense, but I loved it. The Shawarma spice mix is a regular in our pots and pans now.

Super tasty and quick. Used button mushrooms instead of the oyster ones, the result was just as good🤤 only careful with Harissa paste, it can get spicy really quick

Reaaally love this recipe and the recipes that come with it (spice mix and pickled onions) The only recommendation I would make is making sure you tear the mushroom pieces thin enough, that way they get crispier in the oven. I'm personally not a fan of the texture when I left the pieces bigger. The flavour was amazing tho😍🔥
