Amazing taste. I used standard tinned chopped tomatoes and added a couple of chopped frozen green ginger chillies to compensate for the fire-roasted ones in the recipe. Oh and I didn't have any tomato paste (puree) so I used the equivalent amount of passata and added 1 1/2 tbsp of tomato powder to get the strength of taste. Overall it was Yummy!!

Loved this! I don't think we get fire-roasted tomatoes, so just made do with tinned tomatoes which I crushed and added a pinch of smoked paprika and a chilli. I'd definitely add more chilli next time or use a hotter variety, as it was a bit mild for my taste. The mushrooms and lentils make a filling almost meaty sauce and this was such a satisfying meal.

This is so satisfying with minimal tweaks. My sauce turned out a little too sweet at first so I just added more salt and a pinch of nutritional yeast. Next time I may also experiment with leaving out the sugar and seeing how it impacts the taste.

Lovely, but 1 jar of sun dried tomatoes (uitlekgewicht 180g) enough as they really have a strong taste.
