So incredibly delicious!

I roasted a few red bell peppers for some homemade harissa. As they all combined together, I’m not sure how much half a pepper would be. About how many grams would half a roasted bell pepper be? Thank you!

Ooo sounds lovely, Aileen, and thanks for the question! A roasted red bell pepper typically weighs around 100-120 grams so half a roasted pepper would be about 50-60 grams.

Absolutely delicious! It's all very simple, you just have to learn a new way of cooking. I didn't have any quinoa at home and used cooked golden millet instead.

Ooo sounds lovely, Rose, thanks for the insight!

These were really tasty burgers! Mine did crumble apart while cooking and flipping. Reading previous comments perhaps I needed to purée the lentils. I’ll definitely make these again!

This now belongs in my top 2 burger recipes. Absolutely delicious,
I used a mini chopper to speed up the preparation and it was done in a jiffy!

What a big compliment, Milica, thank you! A lovely idea to use a mini chopper to speed up the prep time too 🤗

The bell pepper should be roasted: could you add this step to the cook along mode?

Cláudia - Oct. 8, 2023, 1:11 p.m.

In fact, a series of things should be roasted or toasted. Please consider that it would be very valuable to have all steps in the cook-along mode so that you can actually make the entire recipe in that mode.

Hey Cláudia, the roasted bell pepper we get from our local grocery store is actually pre-roasted. You can often find it with other jarred veggies, so it doesn't require any prep. We hope this helps! Happy cooking 💛

Delicious! A little more involved for my novice skills to make on a weeknight but I will def make these for a cookout!

Emily - July 18, 2023, 7 a.m.

I may have just found my new favorite veggie burger! These were so delicious, an amazing new flavor combo I wouldn’t have come up with on my own. Love them and will definitely be in the normal rotation!

Yayy this is such a big compliment, Emily, thank you! 😃

loved these! i used green curry paste instead of red, and subbed white rice and black beans for the quinoa and lentils. they were kind of falling apart once they were done, though - any idea why?

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 29, 2023, 8:23 p.m.

Hey S! So glad to hear you enjoyed the burgers! 😊 If you subbed for black beans, I'd recommend two things: 1) weigh the beans by grams rather than by cups to match the amount of lentils we used, and 2) mash the beans super well. You can even use an immersion blender or a food processor to blend it up - this will help it bind everything together super well. The rice can similarly be partially pureed together with the beans to help bind it together. I hope this helps if you try it out again!
