Impossible to assemble/wrap

Oh we're sad to hear this, J! In case it helps, try not to overfill the wrap, and press it gently as you fold to keep everything in place. If needed, you can secure it with a bit of vegan cheese or sauce before toasting to help seal the edges 🤗

My partner and I found this recipe only ok. The cheese sauce was quite interesting (now I know about butter beans!) but it didn't quite hit for us. Overall the crunch wraps were alright, but not good enough to justify the time involved. Overall it was a fun recipe to try, but probably only a one-time make for us.

Such a great recipe! The cheesy sauce tastes almost eggy 🥰

Very tasty and leftovers were good the next day. I do love grating tofu, it’s a great way to get some good texture on it 😊 suits recipes where ground meat would normally be!

Scrumptious! I have been waiting to make this and it checked all the boxes for us! Using large tortillas and pressing the folded side down onto the pan are very key in this process! Thanks for another fun recipe!

Woop woop! So glad that you enjoyed the wrap, Linda 😊

So so good!!

Such a simple recipe. We didn't have some tortillas so we miss most of the crunch. But the sauce plus the tofu and vegetables are really nice. We loved it.

Made these delicious crunchwraps for my parents and husband. We were all pretty shook at how delicious and “cheezy” they were. Loved it! Thank you PUL team and keep it coming!!

I loved this recipe. I only had 2 tortillas left so I used the leftovers on roasted potato quarters and it was absolutely amazing

Woop woop! So glad it was enjoyed, Amélie 🙌

As soon as it was posted, I made it. I was especially impressed by the "cheese" sausce, it was surprisingly good. Overall it was a delicious meal and will definitely make it again.

Hi PUL Team! This recipe truly tastes amazing! Would you have a secret technique to flip them in the pan? I was pretty clumsy and they all fell apart during that step! I would be so thrilled if I could make them as good looking as yours. Thank you so much!

Theresa - June 18, 2024, 2:30 p.m.

I haven’t tried this yet, but I think the trick is to put the side with all the folds/seams down first for the hot pan can seal everything in. That then makes the flip easier when you go to cook the “smooth” aide.

Lisa - June 18, 2024, 3:53 p.m.

Thanks for the reply Theresa! I tried both ways and it seems that your idea is the best way to do it. But it was still tricky to put the "fold-side" onto the pan without the folds opening in the process. Maybe I'll try with bigger tortillas next time so that the folds are larger and nicely tucked under. Anyway, I recommend this recipe: even if mine were messy, they were delicious and I can't wait to try them again!

Hi Lisa, and thanks for the tips Theresa! For easier flipping, you can also try using a wide spatula and pressing down gently before flipping. Cooking them a bit longer on the folded side can also help them hold together better. Bigger tortillas that are closed "better" will also definitely help! Happy cooking 🤗

Absolutely amazing! Simple preparation, straightforward assembly and tasty yummyness in the end!
