Persimmons have a peach-meets-apricot, sweet honey taste, with a tomato-like texture. They're a perfect pairing for the toasted, fluffy bread and creamy cinnamon-spiced yogurt. A drizzle of balsamic reduction adds just a hint of tang to this unique recipe.

Delicious, I took peaches instead of persimmon and toasted them slightly. Just drizzled some balsamic vinegar without maple syrup and wowww, amazing

What I love about this recipe is that it made me pair things I wouldn't normally pair and it turned out great. I did it more rustic. Spread yoghurt on bread (homemade baguette), sprinkle cinnamon, add persimmom, drizzle balsamic reduction (no maple syrup). Sprinkle a few different seeds. Delicious.

Ahha, i can’t believe it doesn’t have devious, delicious ! So I made a twist in that using same ingredients, just skipping balsamic and cinnamon; instead frying kaki and pear like in your great recipe for mango pear yoghurt crisp, to make it warm and comforting; and served on baguette with almond butter and sheep yogurt on the side. A keeper.
